First, use the search bar.

Second, Flying Dutch by Tom Holt - it's awesome!
Ehh, the most recent is 20 days ago. I think that's a fair interval. I should be more careful but I think that's fair.
I don't.

I'm getting annoyed at repeat threads - there used to be almost solely good, original threads, while Kraken and Mentor were still at large, but alas, no more.

I know we always hated when people tell us to UTSB, but I'm beginning to see why they do. Really, think before you create. Your answers will be on the other topic.

Ha Ha!

Alas good chum, that's not what they are reading NOW! From which the thread is asking =3

Score one for the Republic! =)
Seconded!

I'm going through "The Death Gate Cycle" by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. 7 Books, really, but I make it through about 1 a day.

That's not a win - it just begs the age-old question - why do you want to know in the first place?
The answer to that question is of course "Curiosity good chap! Curiosity. It drives men of all ranks and stature to *giggle* curious things. If it were not for curiosity religion or science would not exist!

Why do you ask :3 (No I'm not high, just in the festive spirit ! :D )

I just finished reading Animal Farm by George Orwell and now I'm about to read 1984, also by Orwell. I loved Animal Farm so I'm hoping that 1984 is just as good.
1984 is good, but the dystopia has been redone so many times it is starting to get boring to me, though this is knid of unfair to say being that that is the book that started the whole genre.

Right now I am reading "Blood Meridian" by Cormac McCarthy. I swear that this guy is the greatest living author

Haha I was just thinking "that's kind of unfair since thats the book that started the genre" halfway through the first sentence. Also Pratchett is the greatest living author :D

Really? what do you recommend by him?

As for McCarthy I would say to check out:
Suttree (Keep in mind, this book is HARD to wrap your mind around)
All the Pretty Horses
The Road
No Country for Old Men (If you haven't seen the movie)

Im reading The Temporal Void by Peter F Hamilton.

After that I might go back and reread the song of ice and fire books for when the 5th book finally comes out, if it comes out.

Nothing at the moment. Hopefully I'll start reading "Dragons of the Highlord Skies" on Christmas Eve.

The Necronomicon, by H.P. Lovecraft.

It's a good read, but so far the stories seem kind of samey. I'm on The Nameless City.

Frankenstein for my uni course (man I love that book)
Battle Royale manga (I'm a sucker for the violence)
And endless fanfictions. (No justification, it takes too long to dig through the crud.)

Yeah, I'm not loving the big intellectual books right now, they're really boring.

Fatherland.
It's a book about the Nazis winning WWII and they are currently in a cold war with the U.S.A.
It's set in the 60's.
I've never read the book but the movie with Rutger Hauer was pretty good. I should see if I can find this as well as finally get around to reading the book.

On-topic, I'm currently reading "Death Masks", Book 5 of the Dresden Files [http://www.jim-butcher.com/books/dresden/5/] by Jim Butcher. I've read the first 4 and this one one after the other. I was going to try to squeeze in Book 6 (Blood Rites) before Xmas but I don't know if I'll make it. My wishlist was nothing but books so I figure once I open whatever I get I'll have a bunch of other stuff to read.

I just finished reading Fahrenheit 451 for, like, the fourth time. Also, I'm re-reading World War Z. Then I'm going to work on "The Children of Hurin" by Tolkien. At least I think that is the name, the book has been hidden under papers for about two weeks.
