What's a 'deal-breaker' for you when it comes to a possible relationship?

People that try and push their ideals on to other people, if you don't eat meat that's cool just don't glare at me and have a go every time I do. People that want me to go out clubbing with them every weekend I'm happy to go to the pub for a few and if they want to go out with their girlfriends dancing every weekend that's fine but I am not going.

I'll skip the really big deal breakers as they're brought up already and are pretty obvious and go right into the slightly inane ones.

- Chew with their mouth open. Seriously. If you chew with your mouth open I don't care how perfect you are outside of that, I will leave and stick you with the bill. Its disgustin, don't do it.

- Love of cologne/perfume. A small amount here or there is fine for a special occasion. Puttin it on every day simply to go to the store? Fuck that.

- Unshaven armpits. I have absolutely no idea why, but if I see that area go unshaven I get weirded out real quick. Chest hair? On a man not a problem. Leg hair? Male or female I can dig it. Back hair? A little weird, but as long as it isn't excessive I can handle it. Armpits though? Yuck.

There's probably more, but I haven't really encountered much outside of those three.

She being a he would probably do it. Never gonna drink that much again....
Sounds hot.

OT: In something of the reverse case, I won't date anyone who can't do this-

Unless they are, like, really, really cute.

I suppose the normal:

Liars, cheats, being abusive both mentally and physically, being a douche, not accepting other opinions, and I believe I should be emotionally and physically attracted to them.

I want a decent guy I suppose. Cliche much? Yes, but desirable.
Yeah, pretty much this for me too if you change that to 'decent woman'.

The only real deal breaker for me would have to be that I don't date women who don't have any interest in games or general geek culture since I've tried that before and it just didn't work.

Not that much... though I have a strange 'ideal' of what I desire in a woman. Some might term it as horrific, but never mind.

Ehm... as for things that come to mind aside from the d'uh worthy 'whatever I find irredeemably unattractive':

- chain smoker
- lack of cleanliness
- excessive use of make-up/perfume
- loudmouthed (not necessarily badmouthed, that I can take with quite some humour)
- anti-intellectualist
- fundamentalist (regardless of religion)

Probably a fair few more, but 'eh, it'll do for now.

When they have another partner.

When they're crazy, irrational. When they don't have an interest in the world they live in. When they stop seeing their friends and expect me to do the same. Clingy. Some girl I knew really was in the mindset of "he's mine" instead of "he's with me", I hate those kind of people.

Freedom. Or lack of it - I'm completely monogomous (sp?), if I'm even starting to date someone, I won't date anyone else, won't even consider it. That should afford me enough trust to go visit friends, to stay out late, like a normal adult. One thing I make perfectly clear, is that I'm totally loyal, and I expect the same in return.

Also, when it's over, it's over - no getting back together, a split is a split in my book.

Other than that, I can put up with practically anything - I come from a big family, there's very little that actually annoys me... I tend to do all my venting online, sites like this, usually I'm as chilled as a stoned sloth on prozac.

I prefer drug-free (alcohol excepted), and (sorry to use what strikes me as a vague term) no "playing games", i.e. I'd prefer someone who just communicate openly with me rather than conduct all conflicts via passive-aggressiveness.

A few of mine are:
intelectual immaturity
girls who don't know the difference between "fucking" and "lovemaking"
kids
co-dependant types
too afraid to play slap n scratch
passive aggressiveness

Also FAT chicks. I am a man who cums in all sizes but even my imagination has it's limits.

That's about it. I'm not too picky.
Virgins!! I love virgins they're always so ready to learn but too scared to be taught. And they always have that new car smell (you know what I mean)

Jesus God, loads of you are well up tight: no smoking, no drinking, no smiling, no having fun...
Dating someone who smokes is not fun if you yourself are a non-smoker.
As well, dating someone who is a heavy drinker can lead to obvious problems.

It must be a very large list.

I've never been in a relationship, and I've had the opportunity to be, but I just never take it. I think at this point I'm probably scared of having to try to make time for them.
