Being selfish. Being an asshole. Having no sense of humor.

I can work with damn near anything else. Ironically, I'm also extremely unsociable.

Jesus God, loads of you are well up tight: no smoking, no drinking, no smiling, no having fun...
Most people said no "heavy drinking" and everyone I meet doesn't smoke to "have fun", it's just supposedly relaxing.

OT: The usual things: lying, cheating, smokers www...

More specifically umm... Most body hair?

What if they're a selfish, arsehole with an AMAZING sense of humour? Like a young Robert Downey Jr?

It's not just the anti-smoking but the insistance on everything BEING NEAT AND TIDY AND IN ITS PROPER PLACE and also not being neurotic, which seems like an impossible demand to be honest.

Also what is wrong with body hair? Is it because it is untidy?

Think how much fun you could have playing with a nice pair of hairy jubblies! Plus when you did oral it'd be extra tasty AND you could floss your teeth at the same time!

Only a handful for me

Low self esteem - sad, mopey girlfriend? no thank you

clingyness - yes I like hanging out with you but I like my mates as well. "Oh I don't want you to see your friends you need to spend time with me!" See ya *****

Have a good looking face - gonna be looking at it lots and kissing it, so i need it good looking. I like good tits and a fine ass, but the face is more important

No extreme religious and lifestyle views either. Far far too many arguments i'd foresee

oh and be okay with my HEAVY drinking.

To ask, what qualifies as heavy drinking? Are we talking town drunk drinking/making a fool of yourself drinking here? fair enough in this case, but I've been told I'm a heavy drinker, I only ever have drinks on the weekend. And with that I do drink a lot but I rarely become paralytically wasted and become an idiot.

Deal breakers for me:
-Smoking (seems to be a recurring one)
-Religious nut-jobbery (ditto)
-Bigotry
-Lack of self respect
-Refusal to disagree with me (It's just awful.)
-Vanity

Those are the main ones.

Creationism
Vegetarianism
Aside from some of the glaringly obvious stuff already mentioned, these are the big ones for me. Creationism, or even just being very devoutly religious is a non-starter for me because it immediately tells me that they will not only have some massive problems with my own personal beliefs, but that they place faith above logic, science and evidence. That's a big issue for me.

And vegetarianism is an issue because not only do I eat meat (a lot of meat), I have no problem with hunting for food, and I don't believe for one second that vegetarianism is the ideal human diet. Moreover, my experience with many vegetarians (and even more so with vegans sadly) is that they have a lovely tendency to be self-righteous about it. It'd be hard to have a relationship with someone when I want to punch them in their smug face every time we have a meal.

For me humor and personality is the most important thing. If a guy isn't able to laugh (about himself) or complains about the slightly more political incorrect jokes among friends, it's really a dealbreaker for me.

And there's this thing with the coming out. I had a relationship with a guy who was still in the closet, which didn't work in the long run. We simply couldn't move the relationship forward in any way.

On a superficial note: I don't mind bodyhair or some extra pounds, but long hair doesn't work for me at all (only on a relationship level).

I can't stand people who are vain and arrogant, it's not a good quality at all. Otherwise, I think I can deal with most things, as long as they had a good personality and made me happy.

So............................. I guess this is the 'reveal yourselves to be shallow pricks thread?'
Having standards =/= being shallow.

Having some ground rules is good. Going out with anyone who shows an interest even if they are a major dickhead is bad.

People who doesn't like the company of smokers. Heh.
Seriously, people who don't like cigs wont be coming near me. Well, you suck too! In some way...

-I would like to have some resemblance of a personal life.
-Someone in here said something about "hinters" Really can't deal with it.
-If the person says something along the lines of "I really don't like him/her i would be happy if you didn't see that person this much" sorry but no.
-Doesn't have to be an avid gamer or a gamer even but has to comprehend the idea of me playing video games.
-And not too skinny please.

I suppose the normal:

Liars, cheats, being abusive both mentally and physically, being a douche, not accepting other opinions, and I believe I should be emotionally and physically attracted to them.

I want a decent guy I suppose. Cliche much? Yes, but desirable.
Yeah, pretty much this for me too if you change that to 'decent woman'.

The only real deal breaker for me would have to be that I don't date women who don't have any interest in games or general geek culture since I've tried that before and it just didn't work.
Yeah. xD Ive tried to date men that dont have any interest in comics or video games and it's hard to relate. And funny enough I LIKE sports (to play) but I hate watching them and to be honest I really am not knowledgeable in a lot of sports. So sadly the few times Ive dated men who are, it ends up being a pretty silent dinner.

But damn can I bullshit my way through a conversation~

Must have their own things that they can go away and do on their own. I can't stand people who call up and bother me when I am doing my private things.

How about being a jerk? I could probably work with it as long as they aren't a jerk.

That's it really, I can't afford to be choosey.

-Hates videogames
-Hates cats
-SUPER MEGA OBESE
