Whats a good gaming mouse?

My mouse just crapped out and now I am using one of those white logitech ones from the stone age. So now that I'm in the market for a mouse that isn't from 10+ years ago, I ask my fellow escapists what there suggestion would be.

I'm using a Logitech G500 [http://www.logitech.com/en-us/mice-pointers/mice/devices/5750] and it's great. 5700 dpi that's adjustable on the fly, three side buttons, and a scroll wheel that you can lock and unlock at will. Plus, it looks pretty damn cool and it's comfortable.

I wouldn't buy any mouse other than Logitech.

Razer lachesis, it is just a beast and it has the same specs as razers best mouse but half the price.

Get a logitech, MX518 is excellent as is the G9x if you want to go laser. I would avoid razer mice as they are overpriced and arent as high quality as logitech.

The MX518s are good. I forget how much a Sidewinder is, but those are good too.

I have always found it the other way round, logitech seem like the trainers "high teck" (or something) just sounds cheap and looks it.

I see pro gamers using them so they can't be all bad, then again I see pro's using alienware, who are known for being over priced.

Seconded. I've been using an MX518 for about 7 years now and only replaced it once...and not because it wore out, just because I wanted a new one. Excellent mouse in my opinion.
