It seems everyone has been hating on this game seemingly because they think it's supposed to be Fable 4. Well, let me tell why you shouldn't hate on this game. IT'S NOT FABLE 4. Think of it as the Pub Games. I think it's supposed to give us a simple taster, perhaps even only story-wise, as to what's to come in Fable 4. Or maybe it's just a way for Lionhead to get a handle on the Kinect for Fable 4. Or maybe it's all of the above.

However, having said that, I do oppose, really, any forced use of the Kinect TBH. If they need to do it with this game, that's fine but PLEASE don't make the next Fable game require a Kinect, Lionhead.

Because it's a phoned-in rail-shooter installment in a terrible series for the kinect?
Yeah, and Pub Games were even worse. A bunch of mini-games that had absolutely NO correlation to the story whatsoever. And as to a horrible installemnt for the Kinect, we don't know that yet. Besides, there's only so much you can do with a pure Kinect title.

Oh, good lord. They're making Fable 4? Really? LET IT DIE, PETE. JUST LET IT DIE.

I just really can't get over that. Did Fable 3 have good enough sales to warrant another Fable game? Because every time I go to Gamestop, their bargain bins are literally overflowing with copies of Fable 3. It boggles my mind.

It's mostly because it is another fable game in general meaning there might be a Fable 4 and also because it will probably be kinect heavy and very shallow. Peter should really just go ahead and make CasCore, at least then people will buy it because it's "Ironic... blechthg"

While I admittedly don't know all that much about it (was in the hospital when it was announced) but what I do know about it just seems stupid. It's Kinect only, and (I could be wrong here) you just wave your arms about in an on-rail shooter. The time spent on Journey could have been spent on making more mission based DLC for Fable 3, or even improving the mission based DLC they did release (Understone was far too short and Traitor's Keep was very meh).

Well, I'm certainly not expecting anyone to like this game but I think everyone's taking it too seriously is all I'm saying. Just wait till it comes out, read up on anything they give hints about for the next Fable in this one and simply wait for Fable 4 to come out. At least, that's what I'm going to do. Saying that the series is ruined because they're releasing a small game about it is a bit much, don't you think?

Hey, some of us have been hating on the series since Fable 2.
But Kingdoms of Amalur is looking more like what I wanted in a sequel to the original Fable.

I'm willing to try to keep an open mind and give the game a chance. However, I don't have high hopes for it. Or any hopes, for that matter.

No, we be hatin because it's a cheap ass shovelware franchise cash in.
The only question is can they top this most extreme point in the downward spiral that is Fable with the next game.

I lost hope for the Fable franchise when I played Fable 2. The original was a brilliant game and Molyneux keeps trying new gimmicks which completely corrupted the vision of the 1st game. This is the most shameless cash-in ive ever seen.

I've played Fable One through Three, and I have played many kinect games. I love all the fables (some more than others), and I have lost 50 pounds by playing kinect as primary source of exercise. I having been hoping for something as fun as The Journey for 360 kinect for a long time, and while I agree that it's not as entertaining as the other fables it is by far the best kinect game out there.

I HOPE they continue making games like Fable: The Journey for kinect because it's very important to me to stay healthy while doing things I enjoy.

The Bottom Line: It's not best Fable game, but it is one of the best Kinect games out there; and, it is the best Kinect game I have found thus far.
