Whats appealing about Hentai?

So, my battery now goes at 47% and the battery is swelling. I think my Nexus 6 is trying to commit suicide. Or Motorola designed this phone poorly.

All of things turn me on. I could list them for you but the post would be too damn long. Drawn nudity and sex does pretty much nothing for me. I have seen many Rule 34 content, thanks Funhaus and some are just a bit extreme. This isn't about Rule 34. It's about Hentai. Whats the appeal of it.

I am not going to be ignorant and say bad things about it with fully knowing what it is. I don't work for Fox News. So what is it about Hentai that get people... cummimg and going.

Hentai scratches an itch that either can't be replicated (well) in real porn, [Tentacles, monsters, horse level ejaculation (Which is in almost every hentai), furry,] or definitely shouldn't be replicated in real porn [loli/shota, guro, vore, non-consensual, bestiality] and you don't have to worry about acting ability in the manga, because all lines are basically executed perfectly in the mind. And, honestly, hentai has some stories that are so sweet you forget you're supposed to be whacking it.

There's also stuff like netorare, which is better done in the manga than in porn. They tend to be pretty stupid

There's also another one where a man forcefully kisses a woman and takes a picture of it, then blackmails her with it. Women in hentai are ridiculous sometimes.

But some of them are good, in a heartbreakingly tragic kind of way.

Well, the most obvious answer is 'it's pornography'.

As for why anime porn... Some people find the anime aesthetic very eye-pleasing, and most anime and manga is designed specifically to have pleasant looking characters (big, shiny eyes, full hair, slender figures, soft facial features). You use that for pornography and a lot of people are gonna be all over that.

Then there's the sky being the limit, as drawings aren't bound by reality or budget constraints. Live-action porn attempts at production values always come across as hokey, whereas a hentai manga can be as epic and grand as a serious, non-pornograpic manga.

And it lacks the guilt of watching two real people being exploited or maybe even forced to perform sexual acts on camera. It can also get away with scenarios that would be highly illegal in live-action.

I think it's just the fact that it looks like recognizably human figures with genetalia performing lewd activities. Whether it's hentai, furries, 3D, barbie dolls or sculpted clay. Ass'n titties provoke a sexual response in (probably) most people.

On top of that, I'll even dare to go as far as saying the added "strangeness" of cartoons (and things that aren't real humans in general) might just make it a little more exotic for some.

Part of it is seeing actual identical replicas of popular chars, as opposed to mere lookalikes which is typically what one has to do with live action movie characters.

Part of it is completely outlandish fantasy stuff like tentacle monsters or ancient vampires who look like they're in their teens and that sort of stuff. Then there's all sorts of unique to it fetishes that it'll be kinda pointless to get into right now. Lets just say I have come across a 600odd page anthology that battles between a gym outfit fetish or a school swimsuit fetish to see which is better, they just treat it really seriously and put high production values and work into it and do so in a weirdly earnest way.


My personal fav is just the reactions/faces they make. I have a thing for pleasure and since i like seeing people feel good, the over the top eyes rolling back whole body convulsion style of expressions really make hentai stand out.

The talent thing is a great point. Off the top of my head, the Valkyria Chronicles main artist started out making adult fanart. Most of em do so behind aliases but you can tell based on art style. Some have crazy good animation too, like whatever the mezzo forte guy gets his hands (I hope its his hands...) on.

The best I've seen is probably Oda Non. The amount of detail and the superb coloring is on par with the best seinen manga art out there.

Honestly, I'm not sure. I've seen a few hentais, and I find myself fast forwarding through most of it. The plots are Hispanic soap opera levels of bad. The characters are always completely unlikable and divorced from all human emotions save for desperate unrequited love, rape and...more rape.

And even the sex scenes are usually terrible. A. Apparently all hentais have to be censored now, so why bother? B. The squawking, squeaking sounds the female VA make are like ear poison. and C. The dialogue. Of fuck me raw, the dialogue is Kojima levels of not human, and D. Rape, which is bad.

But then again, I say the same thing about furry porn. I don't hate it, I don't mind someone watching it, and I can even see the appeal it may have, it just does nothing for me. A sexy cat girl going at it with a muscled horse man is more fascinating than sexual. Like I'm genuinely impressed someone drew this. And not even a wiggle down there.

OT- Well for one thing, they are not bog down by buget compared to the real thing. Well ok some are but at least it's a low budget hentai in a fantasy or sci fi setting as oppose to a low budget film set in some guy living room. Ok sure you still get fantasy (as in medevil) or sci fi related porns but there are so much more with hentai!

Also hentai is unrealistic which is both good and bad in terms of physic (as if a moron believe sex can last for 30 minutes!). I mean in hentai, a big tits girl can stay on top for ages as oppose to the real thing when a big tits woman need to lay down due to back pain. That is putting it down tamely due to amount of insanse shit can go on in hentai!

Lastly, hentai is kinda precise and to the point per say when most porn make the scene last for 30 minutes or longer (due to foreplay)! Ok yes there are shorter action but most hentai can get the scene down to less than 10 minutes. This is assuming when you are pleasing yourself with that scene by the way.

Oh one more thing OP, you're telling me you never get any sexual fantasy with any character in the media?
Ok yes porn has the actor/ actress dress up but it's more convicing per say (ok it would be OoC for that character cbut it depend who we're talking about) due to the fanart/ rule 34 comics.
