Neither, Majora's Mask is much better than both of them. Very open-ended, yet still retaining enough linearity to not scare off people and an atmosphere and plot that really make one think.
Both have an epic story, but what gives Ocarina of Time my vote is its enormous attention to atmosphere and its flawless combat mechanics. The music fits every environment and pulls you in like a black hole attached to your ceiling.
I like Ocarina of Time since thats the first Zelda game ive actually completed and therefore holds alot of nostalgic feeling to it. spending my youth convincing my brother to do shadow temple because it gave me nightmares. c:
A link to the past. I played it after Ocarina of Time, and it was the first video game I beat with out having any help from a friend/strategy guide/internet. That's why it holds a special place in my heart.
