The north of England is pretty cool. But I live in Manchester and it's a big-ish city so I dunno about the non-urban areas in the north.

Its wet, cold and everywhere you look there are groups of chavs roaming the shopping centres.

Ermmm....yeah, down south is nice, with its coastline and countryside.
Luckily, i live next to the New forest, and also really close to the coast.

It's pretty much the same as any western democracy except with worse weather.
One thing you have to remember about the British...we love complaining. It is pretty much our national passtime. If everything is going fine we fuck something up just so that we have something to moan about.
Well, that's what you get when you ask questions like that on a forum full of teenage gamers in the middle of a recession with a government at the end of it's second term in power. These little fuckers don't know they're born. Try growing up in the 80's, that was crap.
