What's good that's out right now?

Well, I'm thinking of buying a new game.

Well, being without my PS3 and almost all of my games (I still have Deadly Premonition, which is what matters), due to my sister, I'm thinking of grabbing a title that may have passed me by.

Right now, I'm thinking Fable 3 or Halo: Reach, but I haven't looked to hard at what's available.

So: What newer releases are pretty good, and what do you recommend?

Difficult to suggest something without knowing what you're about.

I'm playing GT5, New Vegas and PES 2011 (PS3). I'd recommend them all.

Hmmm..what kind of games do you like? It depends on your preferences really. Me I'm currently playing WRC 2010, New Vegas, Metro 2033 and FIFA 11 on Xbox, and Lair and 3D Dot Heroes on PS3. When I'm in the mood I play Dawn of War Soulstorm with several race mods as well as Roma Surrectum and Lord of the Rings Total War on my PC. My library of Xbox games alone is massive (about 120) so if there's anything your curious about trying I could probably tell you about it.

How's Reach?
It looks pretty good, but I'm a little apprehensive about getting a Halo game.
I've never owned one, aside from Combat Evolved for PC.

How's Reach?
It looks pretty good, but I'm a little apprehensive about getting a Halo game.
I've never owned one, aside from Combat Evolved for PC.

It's meh. The gameplay hasn't really changed a great deal since the first and the gameplay is quite archaic now, I would not recommend.

I'd recommend Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. I enjoyed playing through that alot.

If u are into a shoter try the orange box - not new but good. Have played Portal? Half-Life2, ep1, ep2 and TF2? Its all in there. TF2 is pretty dead on xbox - but you have to play portal.

Nothing that great out at the moment as far as shooters go; I'm not that big on multiplayer, however, so maybe our priorities/preferences are different. In blatant disregard for your thread title, I'll recommend waiting for Bulletstorm to hit shelves.

If you like Action RPGs and don't have an aversion to clichéd stories and puzzles, I can recommend Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom. Really surprised me, that one. Kind of like Zelda, but not Zelda. Read up on it if you're interested.

If you want a different shooter to the rest out there, you should try Metro 2033. It's pretty good and very cheap these days.
