the former will be a very fun and educating 3 hours...
the latter will last between 30sec and indefinate, depending on how long you last...

In England Unicycles aren't covered at all byn Road Traffic Laws and can be ridden anywhere except private land and Bridleways.

In America they seem to be counted as Pedestrians so they go on the pavement / sidewalk.
