Well, I wouldn't say that threads like these are necessarily bad. They let members get a sense of games that others like as well as have "Oh shite! I forgot that one!" moments and update their shopping lists.

That said,
Mercs 2- Keeps me entertained until October
LBP- pre-ordered and paid off
Resistance 2- the only other game I'm "fo sho" about

Other possibilities include:
Farcry 2
Mirror's Edge
Dead Space
CoD5 (the non-pretentious title for CoD:WaW)

and I was going to get Project Origin, but I heard that got pushed back (rrrrgg)

Fallout 3. The latest gameplay videos looked so good. They've changed the game in my eyes from 'Must Try' to 'Must Buy'.

My to buy list is huge.
I actually have a large portion of it in my bookmarks on firefox.
It has a lot in it... And covers games for N64, PS1, PS2, GBA, DS and PC.
Not on that list but always at the back of my mind is finally buying a PS3 and some games for that...

I really need a job...

For me, it's a case of working up enough money for an Xbox 360 before the release of fable 2 in october, either that or i do what i did with the first game and that was buy the game first, get the console later...

And I'm sure that it has, but I'm not in the mood for reviving some 6-month old topic. It never hurts for a fresh start and I don't seem to be flooding the boards with junk, so if people lose sleep over it, then too bad for them.
