What's one band you feel Rock Band has seriously neglected? (Besides Led Zeppelin)

Some Killing Joke, some Echo & the Bunnymen, some David Bowie, some Soundgarden, some Talking Heads, some Bob Marley, some Iggy Pop (or The Stooges)... damn if I go on I'll never finish.

Tom Waits
Then again, maybe they just don't want to have to make little plastic accordions, upright basses, kazoos, and glocenspiels.

Yes (the band)
Roundabout
Siberian Khatru
Starship Trooper

Steve Howe, Chris Squire, Bill Bruford/Alan White all fantastic musicians and their songs would be awesome to play (singing Jon Anderson would be pretty hard though

I would love to be able to rock out to some Yngwie Malmsteen, that man is the king of shredding.

I'd love to see Rock Band do some of At the Drive-In's stuff. I was happy to see that GH:WT did One Armed Scissor, but... its GH:WT.

I'd like to see them do some songs by The Wiggles!

Trivium:
1. Pull harder on the strings of my martyr - watch the "singer" blow out their vocal chords
2. Becoming the dragon - give the bass player some glory
3. Shogun - 11 minutes
No. A thousand times no. Matt's vocals are absolutely appaling, they should never be featured on an album, let alone a game. And anyway, you don't use your true vocal chords for that kind of singing.

On topic, i honestly think they need to come out with some DLC for more extreme forms of metal. Death metal, black metal etc.

opeth. i would relish in playing "the grand conjuration".

the problem with guitar hero is the distinction between songs you want to hear and songs that are awesome to are NOT THE SAME SONGS. i'd love to hear some lostprophets in gh, but i doubt they'd be that much of a challenge.

also, "my way" from limp bizkit. the guitar in that song is awesome. if you don't like it, then screw you!

More Lamb of God! Seriously, Laid to rest wasn't enough, and I would kill to do Adlers drums in Rockband. Now You've Got Something to Die For would be epic.

Frantic Disembowelment or Time to Kill is Now by Cannibal Corpse would be brutal, but anything by them would be awesome.

Anyone heard of Jonathan Coutlon, he's not a band but hell I like his songs. Why not have them be on rock band... or at least some because he can be very raunchy

Remember, guys - the limiting factor at a Rock Band party is always the vocalist. If they don't know the tune, you're not singing the song, no matter how objectively awesome or brutal it is. Sight reading karaoke lines is a lot harder than sight reading the plastic guitar. (Where is my sheet music?)

With that in mind, I suggest Styx. Rock Band already has a big arena rock vibe, and seriously, who wouldn't want to rock out to "Come Sail Away" or "Mr. Roboto"?

As mentioned: Dire Straits... Especially "Money For Nothing", would be awesome to play

Slayer, Angel of death, would be hilarious to sing to that :p

But i would have liked to see a little more metallica, i hope that they will put Death magnetic on the PS3 Store

probably not happening. From what I gather, Metallica is mostly exclusive to Guitar Hero now. Guitar Hero: Metallica is (likely) coming in February or March.

Sevendust. No songs of them whatsoever. Not that I really care, I don't do anything with consoles, but I still think it's worth mentioning.

Iron Maiden - actually pretty much their discography, apart from the Di'Anno and Bayley years.
Di'Anno wasn't *that* bad
Nowhere near as good as Dickinson.
In his defense, no one is as good as Dickinson.

Also, some Johnny Cash would be sweet, I've been everywhere would be fun on vocals, and fun on everything really... maybe not his depressing slow stuff though, not that it's bad, it just wouldn't be fun to play.
