I said it before and I'll say it again.

It's pretty, but cold, just like my ex-girlfriend [sub]It isn't as funny the second time.. although I think this is the third[/sub]

great for throwing at peoples faces. Especially you're best friend (when he is counting on you to back him up in a snowball fight but you betray him and throw one right into his face, I swear i didn't mean to throw it that hard...)

Very VERY white. If you look at it in broad daylight you can literally go blind. So don't. It's pretty difficult to walk through, it collapses under your feet and depending on how high it is it'll be a pain to get your foot out. It's also very, very cold. Below 32F or 0C.

There are also different kinds of snow in terms of stickiness. Some snow just falls apart but other kinds can stick together and easily form snowballs, snowmen, and snowcastles.

Think ice. Then crush it up. Then add some dandruff.

There ya go
So its like shave ice?
Sort of. It has a softer texture, but you have the general idea.

What is it like? Imagine being peed on, except the pee is solid, cold and sticks to you instead of rolling off.

Well, there are different varieties of snow; what kind you wind up with is dependent on certain factors.

One kind is that wet shit that sticks to everything. You try to handle it, and it soaks your gloves and freezes your hands. Then there's the powdery stuff that comes down for hours. Looks pretty, easier to clean off your car, but pure hell if the wind picks up. That's when the stuff gets in your eyes like a million little glass shards and otherwise blinds you simply by being caught up in the air so easily.

It's kind of hard to describe to someone who has no idea what it's like. Cold, makes walking and driving difficult, a pain to shovel. But for whatever reason, I still like the stuff, even though by the end of winter I'm cursing the crap and declaring that I'm moving south.

It's cold and wet. Not that fun to have to walk through or be covered with.

Makes for pretty scenery though.
