Think ice. Then crush it up. Then add some dandruff.

There ya go
So its like shave ice?
Ya, pretty much exactly like that. Only difference is that it's everywhere and usually holds for a second before collapsing when you step on it. Also, whether it sticks together or not can totally change your experience.

I have an urge to follow this with something quirky. Like "ZING!" or possibly "HIIIIIYOOOO!"

Snow? Basically like shaved ice en mass. We live by one of the U.S. Great Lakes so we get dumped on. It's alright in most situations where driving alongside other people is not required.

its magical, nothing like it. there is not much to like about it (cold, heavy, blinding on sunny days...) but it wouldnt be the holidays without it.

I'm not gonna say anything after this full stop.

Ok, scratch that; STOP IT HUBILUB! ^^

Depends where you are, and how heavy it is.

If its light on a windy day, it'll feel like being sandblasted. If it's heavy, it feels like you're getting a slushie poured on top of you.

Living in Australia, I've never really seen much snow in my life. All I have seen were on the top of mountains like Perisher and New Zealand in winter.

I've never tried this but it seems like it would be like shave ice, plus some flower to make it softer.

It's alright, a pain to shovel. But nice. Nice and cold. And fun to throw your self into. Unlike the ground. The ground it dirty and hard. Snow is nice and fluffy.

Oh and you can spot were a dog peed. unlike in grass were you just have to guess

Extremely bright in the light (wear sunglasses if you want to keep your vision bright), soft if it just fell, hard if it is still thick, but has been there awhile, also surprisingly wet, and very very cold. Try the yellow snow, its tasty, or so I've heard.

It depends on the temperature. At ideal temperatures for say, skiing the snow is not wet, but it will have some stickiness to it (also ideal for making snowballs). Generally a temperature between 0 degrees Celsius to -5 degrees Celsius is ideal.

If it's quite cold out then the s now tends to be a lot more frozen-like. It may be a fine, yet non-sticky powder.

If it's quite warm out then the snow is quite sticky and can sometimes even have small ice shards in it. It may make a snowball, but it can actually injure people.

Now there is also the problem of snow melting and freezing over, which then gives us ice. Now that's a whole new beast.

Imagine holding a tiny piece of Jesus in your hands... Snow is nothing like that. Now imagine holding a tiny piece of frozen shit in your hands, only after a few seconds, it melts into normal, liquid shit and stains your clothes. That's what snows like... only white. Snow is God's frozen, white shit...

It depends, some times it can be cool and soft to the touch, floaty, beautiful, wonderful and utterly magical, other times...

Dear god the other times, it can be freezing, heavy, sloshy, barely a solid, and utterly horrific to move through, on foot or otherwise.

You'd best pray that it's a good day when you reach the mainland, friend.

Most amazing thing about snow is how silently it falls. You'll look outside and see a torrent of white chunks raining down on the earth, but it makes no sound. It's a beautiful thing, really: nothing better than sitting by a warm fire reading a book, watching a movie, or playing a game, with hot chocolate or hot apple cider, while the snow falls soundlessly to the ground outside. Truly an amazing thing.
