Everyone says there's too much Realism, but tbh, there's no realism at all
There's just a funny DIFFERENT way of doing things, but it's not realistic

In a battle, you have a healthbar, enemies take half a clip to kill, you heal by randomly pulling bullets out of your wrist (as if that would MAKE you better), and you heal back to full by injecting yourself with random crap in a syringe

No story, boring, and I was really REALLY dissapointed with the lack of political-ness

I hate it, can't fucking progress half the time cause it's night and no ones out at night (so i have to drive to the nearest safe house and sleep for time to progress). Guns jam all the time, driveing is annonying as hell since there is no minimap so you have to pull up a small map while driveing, no fucking super powers
REALISM.

your character is a total pussy who gets saved by the dude he was supposed to kill
WRONG.
He tracks your sorry, malaria-ridden ass down to where you are recovering, to tell you you're a useless Merc. Not save you, numbbags.

It's fun, but the problem I had is that the enemies do respawn like, as soon as you leave the immediate area. It's not even a respawn based on a shift, so for example, you could drive through, kill everyone, complete the mission and drive back through, but if your mission went from day to night, or it went past midday or midnight, and then the enemies respawned, it would have made the game better for me.

That and the only way you could avoid being shot at from iles away was if you had the camo gear.

1. Very repetitive, although that isn't really a game killer if you like doing what you're doing.

2. Respawning enemies. Very annoying, especially early on when your weapons and vehicles suck.

3. Personally I hated that I was forced to work for both factions, rather than being able to choose a side.

But, hey, on the other hand... I got to set a lot of things on fire, and that was AWESOME.

Levels are too big and it takes years to get across the map, enemy's always attack you even when you work with them and it is hard to sneak past them and when you clear out one of the checkpoints there's always more people back there, except from that though it's great

This. The only really good thing with it was the whole fire-mechanic. It was great to set a gurad-post on fire and snipe the people who didnt burn alive.

I also hated the fact that there were no friendly people ANYWHERE! Everyone you meet outside the town, wants to kill you.

It's pretty boring and pretty repetitive. But is kind of entertaining at times.

I really enjoyed the game. Camouflage outfit on, dart rifle in hand, quickly switching to an assault rifle when things heat up. In addition, some of the best moments were just taking in the scenery, enjoying the virtual sunset. While chasing a buffalo around.

But yes, the ending ...

Nothing seriously wrong with it. It's not very exiting, that's all. The gunplay is quite fun, but the story won't shake the skulls from your bonnet.

Ive played it for a while, I started out just walking around killing everyone, everything and burning all the grass and buildings until that fateful day when my flamethrower decided to blow up and scare the crap out of me then i went online and decided to look up FAQ's for quests and then it got repetitive, I still hop on it once or twice to just drive around and run over the wildlife with my humvee

I'd like to add one to the already named complaints (repetitiveness, respawn rate, etc). What really annoyed me, was the fact that the setting was so frelled up. There is supposed to be a massive civil war, tearing up the country, but except for some scripted events, everyone just wants to kill you. Where's the war?

It took a good FPS and turned it into a sandbox game.

Go play the original Farcry on PC, it wasn't about "feral abilities" it was a standard FPS.

It looks pretty good from videos etc. but everyone's saying it's horrible? It's pretty cheap now so I'm wondering what exactly is so bad about it?

One of my friends loves it and says it's 'a combination of GTA and COD'...so a free roaming game in a warzone setting?
Don't do it! I know there is no new games and desperation has driven you but please listen!
You spends most of the game driving through jungles, every now and then getting crashed into by enemy cars, the combat is unsatisfying, the characters (aside from Greaves who I would proudly serve under) are all twats, the missions are near identical... I mean look I could go on but just take my word for it and buy something wholesome like phychonaugts. I wouldn't usually warn you because I tend to let people hurt themselves and learn from it but it is nearly Christmas and I am feeling charitable.

I could go on, the game just rubbed me the wrong way... and took 60 of my dollars.

DAMN YOU UBISOFT, DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!
So basically, your only complaint was it's too realistic?
ISN'T THAT WHAT PEOPLE HAVE ASKING FOR ALL THIS TIME?!
Ladies and gentlemen, we are through the looking glass.

I can't count how many times I ran into a tree or a ditch in that game because I was looking at my map while driving.

That said, I actually enjoyed the game. It had a lot of good moments, but I agree that it did get a little bit repetetive.
