I generally don't hide that I like to game. However, I do generally leave out that I play World of Warcraft until the person gets to know me better.

I do so, as you can probably guess, because people pre-judge you as some basement dwelling, mouth breathing nerd...when in reality this is rarely the case with most WoW players (at least I've found).

It's funny though, because I've had people do the same thing with me. For example - I was working as an RA while I was in college, and one of my bosses found out that I played WoW (If I recall correctly he stopped by while I was raiding one weekend). I then learned that he played WoW, and was a pretty hardcore raider, and was on the same server as me on the opposite faction. I then camped BRS on my rogue, and ganked his gnome ass...

lol thats pretty funny but arent you scared for your job? anyway yeah WoW is one i don't tell people i play and Kingdom Hearts because people will say its a childish disney game but its my favorite game of all time.

I do find building houses in the Sims 2 fun, I don't know why. The "simulation" part is godawfully boring though.
I also played WoW for about six months secretly.

I feel kinda bad when I say I love Metal Gear Solid 2

...it's actually my favorite MGS game...

but most everyone else dislikes/hates it

obviously you haven't played MGS3. buy it NOW.

I have it...both Snake Eater and Subsistence...

in fact, I have every MGS game...1, 2SoL, 2S, 3SE, 3S, 4GotP...even Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Snakes revenge...

all except for the ones for the PSP (the Ac!ds and the MGS3 sequels)... and the original (I have Twin Snakes for Gamecube) ...so...yeah...
