I just re-downloaded (though I am ordering the album online with my next paycheck) a higher quality version of Vangough's "Manikin Parade".

Imagine Dream Theater, fused with Porcupine Tree and Pain of Salvation. It is absolutely phenomenal and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys good music.

Here's a sample. You're welcome.

Recently downloaded some Mumford & Sons and The Gladiators. They've pretty much dominated my iPod as of late.

I think I go on about Crystal Castles way to much so I'm gonna go with the actual last band I downloaded. Cansei de Ser Sexy (CSS) great Brazilian pop band who deserve to be far more popular and sucessful than they really are.

That song was damn catchy and man did I enjoy it. I'll fill your spot I guess and talk about Crystal Castles since I can't get past the show they put on on tuesday night. Just such an amazing band every track from the first album is great and the second album while not better than the first still has some stellar tracks like Celestica, Baptism, and Empathy. I highly suggest people check out Crystal Castles even if you don't really like electronic music they are that good.

The Scott Pilgrim soundtrack led me to Plumtree. How come every neat-sounding band I find these days disbanded 10+ years ago?

I was recommended the Trilogy album from a friend by Emerson, Lake & Palmer and I was amazed. Such powerful songs from a classic band I've never heard of before, easily the biggest hidden gem for music, EVER!

See my avatar? That's the Brain Salad Surgery album by ELP, it's even better.

Murphys Law by Priestess. It's a hard rock song about Robocop.
Such excellent taste!

Recently I've got my hands on The Final Frontier (Iron Maiden's new album, which is awesome), The Greater Of Two Evils (an Anthrax greatest hits album, all specaily re-recorded for it with John Bush) and From Beale Street To Oblivion (Clutch album that came out last year. Sexy-ass).
