I once made a whole mess of random lines over a period of three months on the back of a folder. I then turned the folder sideways, and realized I had created a city. It was awesome.

...I don't think I can respond to this thread considering that I'm an art major and most of my classes were art. XD
Ditto. From what I've seen of my peers at the escapist, we have some stellar doodlers.

However bitty, my avatar is my own. That is my contribution to the thread.

A mate of mine drew a picture of our English teacher in the buff in the back of his english book. She was smoking hot. Then forgetting it was there he handed it in for marking. She gave him a B for the picture lol.

Wow, there's some awesome artists here.
Me and my friends draw incredibly surreal mini-doodles around the edges, one of my friends' books has almost every page filled up outside the margins with battle slugs, manchus and the like.

I guess my best was a perfect Bunchie.

I drew Spongebob once.

Come on guys, there's no way I'm the only one.
You're not.

I drew a guy with a large jawline, a tattered bloody tank top, holding an assault rifle with several explosions in the background. IT WAS AWESOME! I named him StrongJaw McBadass.

I once dicked around and drew a ridiculously detailed version of a creature similar to H.R. Giger's 'Alien' except then blurred with some of my own art styles. I went all out and made it fantastically detailed and well drawn and then called it a:
"Hornet."
After that, I started writing up a whole franchise to go with it. So if, years from now, you see a movie about 'Hornets' invading major cities around the world and consuming them just remember this post and how it all started with one doodle in a classroom by a bored teenage boy.

I'm not sure if this counts as doodling, but I once made a comic out of binder paper... The comic was about 75 pages long, slit up into 3 chapters, each chapter had 13 episodes, Each page had about 35 panels... I also made 20 or so stand alone comics on binder paper...

It was this alien with eye's on top of stalks, sorta like slug stalks, it was all stout and had long nails and a large claw on it's heels, a mouth that stretched across it's head (which was basically it's body) and was playing a lefty Flying V while throwing up the horns.............awesome

I actually (throughout high school and a little in college) drew a short comic series of stick figures. It was a parody of anime, politics, and life in general. The series was called "Narutoast". Obviously, taking characters from Naruto (mostly) as well as other anime, video games, and real life. We even had "The A-Team" featuring Kakashi, Zabuza, Haku (who is the series' Kenny), Neji (who is later replaced), Spiderman, Jesus (really), Meta Knight, Solid Snake, Sonic, Hidan (temporarily), Itachi (temporarily), Kisame (temporarily), Jiraiya (temp), and Naruto (temp).

I had a lot of fun... then mom threw all 4 of the original notebooks out. I'm lazy about going back and recreating them. So much fun when I first made them. Everyone loved em.

My best doodle was a penguin with a 44. magnum reciting the famous words from Dirty Harry. And it was at that point I realized I loved penguins.

That's just sheer awesome.

Was that an Unforgotten Realms reference?

One year in world history I started drawing out my notes. The class was covering the Hundred Years war so it was mostly Knights killing each other, or Protestants and Catholics killing each other. Pretty good comic material either way.

Hm. Homeschooled, myself. I did doodle something while multitasking with homework, mind. Here it is.

A picture of a girl looking out a window with a solemn expression on her face. I also consider it my best drawing so far.

Most of my drawings are done at school because I get bored VERY easily. I concentrate better while drawing, but teachers don't really think that's true.
i would love to see said drawing!
Sadly, cannot. I can't use my scanner. By..tomorrow I should have the drawing up.

Wait, it's already 2:00 in the morning......Then later.

Once I drew Solid Snake snapping Link's neck in front of Zelda on my notes. I failed the test but my notes were fucking awesome lol.
