This is best, because it's Tetris Porn. Seriously, that is the best thing ever written. Worst is My Immortal, because it's fucking unreadable. Scariest and saddest, I dunno. Don't really read those kind of fanfics.

I'm nearly done with the first half. It's still under heavy editing though, adding in a lot more scene description and deleting most of the dramatic parts for the sake of drama (Like when a bully gets Cheerilee to hit him, getting her fired. A part not in any way related to the plot)

Best was My Immortal. That shit is pure, unbridled genius.
Worst was Agony in Pink. Someone got off to that, and that's terrible.
Scariest was Solaceoon Daycare's Secrets. [http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6308310/1/Solaceon_Daycares_Secrets] It's about a guy who discovers that Pokephilia is a thing when a horny Lopunny demands sex from him. It goes down hill and gets creepier and creepier from there.
It's scary in the sense that I read it and actually pretty well written, if horrible and perverse.

I have a couple I like but the most recent was this really sweet one about Miranda and Jack from ME2, it was dramatic, well written and thankfully resisted the urge to be porn, although it was really fucking rude, pretty funny actually. Forgot the name.

And worst was (forgot this name too but I'm glad I forgot) was another romance one of an older version of Hope and lightning from FF13 married with a baby. It was completely and utterly impossible to read a single word, the grammer was... just... blebubuguoo. That's the only word to describe it.

It's a My Little Pony fanfic where Pinkie Pie, the pony most known for being hyper and making everyone smile, brutally tortures and kills one of her best friend, with all manner of things such as car batteries, hack saws and adrenaline to keep her awake. She then turns the dead flesh and guts of the pony into cupcakes to feed to the whole town. Think "Sweeney Todd", but with Ponies and much more gore.

So I'm sure we've all read a fanfic once in our life. The mostly crap stories based off popular shows, games and movies. Sometimes there used for the writer to bring out sick fantasies (like Cupcakes) or are just stories that the writer actually cares about.

So tell me what you think are the best, saddest, scariest and worst fanfic you've ever read.

(Please bear in mind all of my choices are MLP fanfics)
-Best is probably Fallout Equestria
-Saddest is definitely Bubbles, a fanfic about Derpy Hooves getting abandoned and beaten by her parents. It was written in a way that made it look like Derpy had no idea what was happening to her.
-Scariest is probably Rocket to Insanity.
-I can't pick a worst, since all the bad ones are really funny to read due to their crapness.

The worst fanfic of all time is without a doubt the Harry Potter fic My Immortal.

As for the best, much like books, it comes down to what category. The fic I've liked the most and thought had the highest quality is probably the Denarian series of HP fics, but Hill of Swords, Team 8 and a few others are also very high quality. I can't make a definitive statement on "best", to be perfectly honest.

Saddest, I avoid depressing reading material, so I have no real contenders here at least.

Scariest that I've read (bear in mind I don't read much horror) is On Four Legs. It's a very well done horror story that does a very good job with pacing and building tension.

I haven't read it myself, but if what I've heard is correct, it's basically a story about Pinkie Pie in MLP murdering her friends and making cupcakes with the remains.

Best would have to be a tie between The Man With No Name [http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3486089/1/The_Man_With_No_Name], a Doctor Who/Firefly crossover that reads pretty much exactly like an episode from either series, and Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality [http://hpmor.com/], which was basically created to answer the question "What if Harry had been raised by a scientist?"

I've never really read any particularly scary fics, nor any sad ones. As for the worst, well...
