What's the BEST thing about video games?

Becoming completely immersed in a different world. I just played the Amnesia demo. Holy Shit the world around me did not exist. I was in that damn game. I must buy it.

The fact that it's an interactive medium which opens up so many more possibilities for immersion compared to other mediums.

I don't know. Probably the way it offers immersive experiences in a way that no other type of entertainment can.
