I don't think any of you knows what the term "wargame" means.

I recommend you check out Shrapnel Games [http://shrapnelgames.com/]' catalogue, they specialise in wargames and have a very high standard. Granted, they may not have state-of-the-art graphics, but they're very deep and just plain good.

I would like to know what is the best war game kind of like roman wars but better and that is not to big, something that would work on my laptop.

and i seen a game on youtube that had apache helicopters shooting people on the ground, it looked real. does anyone know what game that is.

Endwar would be an amazing choice.
Its a sort of TBS/RTS as it has turns and theres no building a base everytime you start a mission, but you do control massive armys.
You can play as the Americans, Russians or Europeans in WW3.
The graphics are really good and it has a sort of story to set up the game at the beginning before letting you play out the game in whatever way you want.
