A Heads-Up: You just can't dislike anything that we like or vice versa. Even if a proper reason(s) are written down, people will try to argue so you can eventually give up and say they are right. The E-Penis, or Nerd Penis of the person arguing will then grow massively. But it is a hunger that cannot be stilled. Also like everywhere else on the Internet, make sure every single letter of any of your posts are proofreaded by a professor in English, or your thread will be about how badly you wrote it, instead of the thread itself.

I have a much older join date than the OP, but few posts due to my lurking, even with an account.
My experience on the forums has been 100% even on the R&P, which is somewhat worse than the rest of the site.
You may not see much hate and spiteful, but you will see 1000 word posts that thoroughly deconstruct and thrash your argument.

Welcome to the cozy little family. First off most of the people here are PC gamers so there tend to be quite a few PC elitists that can be kind of annoying at times. Secondly this is probably one of the more civilized and normal forums so if you disagree with someone make sure you debate in a manner that doesn't degenerate into petty insults.
