yeah thats the title but if youve got a puppy that's started playing the piano or an iguana that just drove your car to town and back, then those kind of stories are welcome too!

earlier my cat Sophie fell asleep on my bed side table for attention, so cuuuute! XD

I was digging a lump out my grandparent's garden, and thier cat was watching me. Then she hopped off her chair and started pawwing at the ground, as if she was helping me.

When mine died, I went dawwww. I'm not a cat person at all so the more that die off, the faster I get a dog.

My mom's PC had a swimming fish screen savor. Our cat actually thought to reach behind the screen to try to get at them.

It stopped breathing for a while yesterday. Oh wait, that's frightening, not cute...

She doesn't want attention all that often, but when she does, she really, really does.
I'll put it this way; Your handwriting certainly doesn't get any better when a cat's batting the end of your pen every time it starts moving. Scruffiest piece of homework I've ever handed in.

My cat was once staring out of a glass sliding door. I picked up my nylon jacket from the floor, making that distinctive high-pitched shriek that those kinds of jackets make. She proceeded to jump forward, in a brave attempt to escape. Needless to say, it didn't work, tossing herself into the surface of a sliding glass door from a few inches away. She accordioned for about a second. It was possibly the most pathetic thing I've ever seen from this particular creature. I lol'd

Jumped off the upstairs balcony, spread his arms and legs, and HE FLOATED DOWN. Like one of them flying squirrels. I watched the fat ball of orange fur practically base jump off the balcony, then proceed to parachute down to his food dish. I have an odd cat.

My cat once somehow got a plastic bag handle wrapped around her neck, and when she moved, it moved with her. This freaked her out so bad that she ran faster than I've ever seen her run down the hall, around the living room, back down the hall, and under my parents' bed, all with the bag flapping after her. She's terrified of plastic bags now.

That's odd because the same thing happened to my cat. She was so excited and then just fell over yawned and took a nap.

We have two desks in our living room about three feet apart. For a long time, we had our two gerbils in a fish tank with a heavy screen lid (the lid can support the weight of a fairly hefty cat (who happens to be the subject of this story but I'm getting ahead of myself)) on the second desk. Our cat, Guy Noir (he's black and my mom likes NPR), could use chairs to get onto the first desk but not the second, so he would get on the first desk and then leap the gap so he could sit on top of the gerbil tank and stare at them. He has been doing this for more than a year. Now, for whatever reason, my parents decided to move the gerbils to on top of the first desk instead of the second one, so Guy jumps onto the first desk, gets on top of the gerbil tank, and jumps to the second simply out of habit. When he lands, he gets this really perplexed look on his face, he cannot figure out where the tank went, despite him having been on top of it just a few seconds beforehand.

EDIT: Here are pictures of my three cats. The black one is Guy, and the two brown ones are Hailey and Ossie. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2075852&id=1397293712&l=e5a7118586
