What's the Double M symbol I see in people's avatar gifs?

Ok so I've seen some avatar gifs, (2 so far), showing a bright orange and yellow design of a double M, imbedded in each other. One shows the logo on a building, it blowing up, and an evil little kid looking evil like he did it. Another shows Jim F Sterling Son laughing at it.

Who the hell is this M logo, and why has it incurred internet gif ire?

it is a gif about March Madness. its a basketball event where basketball fans celebrate basketball for some reason.

It's the logo of the IRL superhero who recently turned supervillain - Multimillionaire Man. He was kind and gentle until he turned around and created the evil group known as "the 1%".

Nobody knows for sure, but it's said that the MM stands for the Marxist Moles, who slew young Mordred's parents many years ago. Little did they realise their misplaced mercy would cost them dear...

I don't browse everything on this website. Most of it is stuff I don't have any interest in. I read the occasional article, watch the content from the contributors, (though most of them have left), and browse the forums. I don't care about some "Which game is better than the other" voting thing, so no I don't pay it any attention.
