This would have been back when I was two years old, my mum had just brought my new born brother back from the hospital and he was resting in a moses style basket cradle. Me being the short and curious little boy that I was, wanted to get a better look at him, so I leaned on the cradle and tipped it luckly the blanket around his head saved him when he fell out.

I have the distinct memory of darkness.

It's weird, all I know is it was dark, there was no sound. But I was aware.

But since most people like to act like i'm lying when I say that. The earliest i can recall is me pulling myself up onto my feet using the coffee table, then walking towards the kitchen 5 steps before falling on my ass. So, learning to walk maybe?

I very clearly recall being changed on a kitchen table by a woman who wasn't my mother. She looked after me when I was a child so it's not like she was a stranger or anything. I'd say I was around 6 months old at the time. I couldn't have been older than a year anyway.

I think I was 3 going on 4. I saw my older brother (who would've been about 11 or 12) and his horse fall down a crevasse in the sandhills. I remember a helicopter showing up and park rangers, I grew up technically in a national park.
Then I don't recall much until seeing him get out of surgery he broke his leg and collarbone.

After that it's just bits and pieces of things like playing in a field. My memory doesn't get really solid till kindergarten.

It's difficult to know how old some of my early memories are, since it's difficult to date them, but I remember when my grandparents got their dog and I was with them on the trip to pick it up.

I was 3.
Also my great-grandmother's funeral, that was few months later.
My memory of that event is clearer, I remember what the church looked like, and how I was confused by it all and why people were crying. I had a vague idea that they put her in a box and then underground, which is why I was so confused when I was told she went in heaven.

That's the first time I realised you couldn't always trust adults.

I was 3, woke up one day and didn't remember a thing. Sat in bed for 10 minutes trying to recall what happened the day before, or any other prior days, and just couldn't. Then I went downstairs and watched Pokemon (the episode where they have that party in Pallet town) with my brother and told him about it. Naturally as were both retarded kids neither of us thought the amnesia sufficiently strange to tell my parents.

I remembered obvious instinctual stuff, like I could identify my brother, I knew my name, I knew how to talk, etc. I just couldn't remember anything. My brother remembers it too so I'm definitely not making it up.

Yeah, that was an odd day.

There was a sudden bright light, then I was held up by my feet and someone slapped me.

Just kidding. I can remember the old floor in our former flat, but just barely, as something with a distinct pattern coming closer and moving further away again repeatedly. MAybe I was crawling along it.

in kindergarten, standing next to a table full of leaves. I was sowing the shit out of those leaves.

I remember crawling around while wearing a diaper. I crawled into the kitchen and my parents were fighting, fists pounding on the table. The table was upturned at some point. I don't think I was more than a year and a half old, and my brother at four years old led me out of the kitchen. That's a fun earliest memory. My brother, and my parents remember it too.

I don't really recall much from my early childhood, and what I recall, I can't put in a certain order.
The first time I realized what year it was though was 1997(6 years old). We were in the kitchen and there was this huge calendar with 1997 written on top, so I put my first year elementary school knowledge to use and asked my dad if it's the year 1997.

I think the earliest memory I have is my attempt to ride my tricycle down the brick stairs that used to be out the back of my house. Didn't bode well for me. I'm not exactly sure how old I was but I was very young.

Falling off a climbing frame and breaking my arm when I used to live in Germany.
I was only about 2-4 years old. I also remember being in the hospital later.

I remember a few things from age 2 (and possibly younger). I was in this inflatable boat shell thing with water wings on in a swimming pool. I remember visiting my dad's cousin and their weird chairs. I remember these cheap plastic baby clothes that hurt my nipples and I hated wearing them. I remember being in a sandbox and getting scared and running back into the house.

I remember these things because there are pictures of most of them or something weird happened that scared me at the time. So like if there's an old picture, I could call back directly to that moment when I saw it at age 3, 4, 5, 6, etc. By the time I was old enough to remember, "that was a long time ago, I should hold onto that" I didn't have to look at the pictures anymore. I also lived in a different house when I was 2 before we moved to where I've been for the last 23 years. So I have this easy demarcation in my brain of "baby years" and not baby years.

I do have some vague recollections of being in a stroller, but it's possible my brain is manufacturing those memories. I don't have anything to back them up. I definitely remember being three and four, too.

This actually happened to me in high school. I told a friend and he felt the same thing. High school was just that boring and pointless.

For me it's either being attacked by a dog or being taught how to play videogames by my siblings. I know they're some of my earliest memories, but I don't know which one comes first.

I have no clue what age I was, but it was young. I remember sitting at my grandmother's kitchen table with a piece of paper in front of me and crayon in hand. I remember being totally frustrated because I wanted to write a story but I didn't know how to write yet.

Kinda weird now that I think back on it, being so upset about wanting to write and yet lacking the ability to do so.

I can remember having my nappy changed, taking my first steps and even dreams I had at that age. I was dreaming that I was flying! But I can't remember why I bought sonic unleashed....

The earliest memory I have would be sitting on the rug at my grandma's house with some Duplo pieces to play with. There was a green tile, a giraffe, and a shovel. I was always really confused why the giraffe had somewhere to go but the shovel didn't. Then I realized that the giraffe had a hole in its back that the shovel's handle could fit into. From that point on, the shovel's place was in the giraffe's back. God I think I was 2? Something like that.

Well, the earliest memory I can actually place is watching Ayrton Senna crash and die when I was 7. I probably have memories from before that but I really can't place them.
