What's the fastest you've driven a car?

Like the title says, what's the fastest you've ever driven a car?

My top speed in any car is 180 kmph (112 mph), but that was in a rental car and I nearly crashed it at that speed because I had to hit the breaks suddenly.

The current car I'm driving in is a Toyota Aygo (yes, that shopping trolley). I went 170 kmph (105 mph) in that, which is actually the highest speed the speedometer indicates.

Done 117mph in a rented BMW. Actually didn't even intend to, just had an open road and subconsciously took advantage.

Not something I care to repeat since getting caught over 100mph here is an instant driving ban. Not to mention I was not comfortable driving a rental car I have no chance of paying for that fast

I drove a friend's BMW 540 on the autobahn when I was stationed in Germany... I believe I hit 270kph (somewhere in the 165-170mph range)... and it was boring. Leave it to German engineering to take all the fun out of driving fast.
The old cooperized mini I had over there would hit 180kph (112-115mph range), and that was much more exciting. There's nothing quite like driving at breakneck speed in a tin can that weighs less than half a ton (though admittedly with me behind the wheel, it went a little over half a ton. 510-ish kg).

About 200 km/hr. I was a dumb kid and had borrowed my Dad's car to pick up a friend at the airport. Some other friends had done the same and we had a bet on who could get back to the house the fastest. I won.

Though, I can't be sure since my speedometer topped out at 80mph.

Car's speed limited to 240km/h (150mph), but i felt no need to keep going.

I was driving through Chino Hills, on my way to Temecula, in California. There's this great stretch of freeway with no turns for about 20 miles.
I was in the carpool late, and it was a very windy day. The wind was going the same direction I was. It was so easy to hit 100 I decided to peg the speedometer. I must have been going 142mph for at least a few seconds.

160 Kmph was the fastest I've been. The speedometer goes up to 220, but I don't think I'll be trying to break my record anytime soon.

120-130 kmph not sure about the exact number but it was in this range
i was learning how to drive a car and it was my 4th time behind the wheel

It was awesome.

Fun Note: At that speed, in that car, any accident would have resulted in me being turned into paste. Made it feel all the better.

I went on an amateur track, I think I hit about 250-260 kph on the straightaway.
On the road, I think I've topped at 150 kph or so, going across SK. on the transcanada highway.

Er, I was going with a friend on his Dune buggy to The Great Mexican Sandy Dunes of Etc, and we had an open road. Next thing I knew we were flying across the road at 120-something mph. Also: Mexican roads, not pretty.

I go up to 200km/h with my Audi A3 everytime I drive on the Autobahn.
Fastest might be something around 230.
