70 km/h. Then again, I'm 16 and have only ever driven on the roads once, and only just got my learners permit last week, so it's alright I guess.

~240kmh with my old BMW (3er), ~250 with the Audi (A8) of my father

though i had the most fun driving with those during army service thru rough terrain at a rather slow pace ;)

88mph.

Shit got real after that. Fucking gigawatts...
are you just quoting back to the future?

OT: I got my Honda up to 110 mph without realizing it cause I was that tired driving home from work. Realized it when the car started violently shaking and I was having issues keeping it steady saw my speed slowed back down to my normal speed of 70.(and for those who use KPH instead of MPH highest was 177.02kph and the usual is 112.65kph)

Been 160 MPH in Eastern Oregon in a De Tomaso Pantera. (With a line of similar high-dollar machines right behind me)
My own car, a 1988 Toyota Supra with 300-odd bhp, hit around 150.

In my '99 Monte Carlo I got it up to 120 MPH before the Governor kicked in and slowed me down. I'm probably gonna try to break 130 in my new car though.

I like going fast

Probably 95MPH. I was passing a really, really slow lane of traffic and there was another car down the way coming. I really, really wanted to pass them... and I didn't feel like waiting for the line of traffic even further along coming our way.

I love that old Buick.

80mph. Equal to about 145kmph.

Hey, I was overtaking a car on a A route. In a driving lesson. Because the instructor was "getting annoyed with the car in front being slow."
In Los Angeles if you aren't doing 80 on the freeway you will get your ass run down. Personally, the fastest I have ever gone in a CAR is 120 MPH, but I once had my Mitsubishi Montero Sport up to 130. It was the Limited Edition, so it had the big engine, locking rear differential, the works.

Sadly, the two biggest motors I have owned have been governed at about 85 miles per hour. The one drawback of a Cadillac...

I am another autobahn driver. I maxed out between 160-180 mph. Eh. It woulda been cooler if not everyone else was keeping up with me. xD

It was either between 230 and 250kph in my old Mitsubishi Eclipse. With the convertible top down. On REALLY shitty back roads of a small town in Saskatchewan (Lanigan to be exact) I was racing my friends mustang and I kicked the shit out of him but I damn near shit my pants since my car was shaking so badly

120 mph in my Mitsubishi Eclipse.

It was on the 5 driving from San Francisco to LA.

There's always a bit of traffic on the 5 and it's only two lanes. When you're going twice as fast as everybody else it's like they are basically standing still.

Thank God there were no cops, I would have lost my license for sure.

Crossing Nevada in 1992 in my 68 chevy II I did over 200 MPH, over because the speedo only went to 200 and i was still accelerating.

Not certain if trolling...only because it would take an assload of money to make a Chevy II go that fast and I don't know if you have that or not.

105 MPH in a 1998 Hyundai Accent. My current car goes faster but I've never had a desire to see just how much faster.

I think the fastest I've ever gone is about 95mph. I wasn't paying attention and the average speed on the interstate here is 75-80mph(legally its 70mph), so I got a bit ambitious in the fast lane.
