I think I have hit somewhere between 105-110 mph. I wasn't paying attention to the speedometer at the time, just the road. As we slowed down I took a quick look and the needle was just above 105(so at 104 or 103). That was about 3 years ago in a '94 Honda. By the way, somebody passed me before I slowed down.

I was stupid and my friend was making fun of how slow my 1.8L 4 cylinder car was, I went to 165-170km/h before I decided that I'd proven my point.

It's about 100m/h I believe.

EDIT: Holden (Vauxhall) TS Astra.

I've ridden in faster cars, my father use to be a regional manager for a chain of hotels in the Northern Territory (Australia) when they use to have no speed limit, we travelled about 600 km in less than a day. It equates to 6 hours if you travel at 100km/h (60mph) but we managed to get there before lunch, have a meal, go for a swim in the pool, dad had a meeting and we got home well before dinner.

129 mph, in my mom's Civic.
about 115 in my GMC Safari.

I've gone over 60 on my bicycle, too. (Not motorcycle, bicycle. The kind with pedals.)

Not certain if trolling...only because it would take an assload of money to make a Chevy II go that fast and I don't know if you have that or not.
No not an assload really. mostly removing useless crap to make it lighter and building a 350 for those speeds is not expensive compared to a ricer or euro. Fact is its easy to do because most of the parts dont cost as much as the car and there is a shitload of performance parts for a small block chevy. and the most expensive new part was the Holley Dominator carb, and the majority came off the neighbors dragrace car that was getting covered in weeds that he sold me for $1k.

heres the car a few monthes before, it had the stock 307 and powerglide in it when the picture was taken. when I drove it cross country and opened her up in Nevada I had replaced that with a 350 and a th350 tranny about a month prior.

Haha i said 92 when it was 93. thats funny.

Really? Probably because miles is a minority metric unit? Might also have something to do with the origin of America, basically being all moved-in Europeans, they brought two different metric systems to one country and they simply never standardized it?

Not sure..

Yeah...you had at most 300 HP to the wheels (Generous) with a 3.55 rear end.
You were going 200 KPH.

I'm gonna play devils advocate here, just for a different perspective.

My Dads Cobra rep has a Ford Windsor, which was originally a 5.7. Ford motorsport heads took it up to 6.0 for less than a grand. A nice Holley four-barrel costs less than £100. An increase in airflow and massive main jets, combined with numerous other small mods, all of which will set you back less than £2k and you'll be looking at 400bhp.

Back on the sensible side, supercars with 400bhp can get 200mph. That thing above has the aerodynamics of a brick with a sail on it and, even stripped down, will still weigh as much as a small moon!

The speedo may well have claimed 200mph, but my old GpZ500 once registered 135mph on the clock, when it had a max speed of 123mph!

My bike is bang on (tested), so I know what I'm getting is genuine.

I've done 77k on a pedal cycle down a hill!

#edit# 'on a farm' ok never mind sorry lol
How steep was that hill, seriously I go for bike rides daily and the fastest I have ever gotten to would have only been like 40kmh, and thats was on an extremely steep hill, also I'm only 13, I can't actually drive on roads and in races and such.

123 kph....In a 30 kph zone. A benefit of living in Colombia is that the police are far too busy with more important things to chase down speeders.

When I was young and stupid, I buried the needle on three separate cars. As I wasn't caught by the cops, I don't know how fast I actually went.

312KPH on my distant uncle's/cousin's Hayabusa. I can honestly say getting back onto my CBR125 felt like someone chopped off my bits.

I haven't pushed my humble Peugeot beyond 170 kph. My CBR600RR on the other hand... Let's just say I'm happy I have not been caught by any cameras. :X

I heard about this [http://www.livescience.com/6597-video-games-reckless-driving-play-real-life.html] study some time ago and until I read through this thread I suspected it was bogus...but perhaps gamers are fairly reckless. I didn't expect to be an outlier by being one of those who sticks to around the speed limit and you know...doesn't try to get themself killed. Damn kids and their racecars and nintendos.

reasonably steep, if you want to see someone do it search for 80k downhill cycling on youtube

although, being 13 would likely be the main issue you need a good bike with very low rolling resistance and over a kilowatt of sprinting power, something like this guy:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMlcGIrnj40

skip to about 4 mins if you want to see the speed building

Fastest I've ever gone is probably just a little over 100 KPH in my 1995 Ford Mustang GT, It was the first time I got to put it into fifth gear. I hope to get an opportunity some day to see how fast it can really go because apparently it should be "pretty fast".
