I have loved every Final Fantasy game so I figured what was wrong with Crystal Chronicles and dear Lord I scrubbed for weeks but the filth just would not leave.

So freakin weird, because I've heard it's good I just...keep putting it off.

Sonic Unleashed. I only got it because it was on 2 for £30 with Fracture.
Man, that game was all sorts of crap.
I hid it behind the boiler so I didn't have to look at the box.

Star Wars TFU... Bought it and beat it the first day, both endings... Granted, I didn't wait for the DLC, but still...

Sonic the Hedgehog 2006. ;_;

That game makes kittens want to commit suicide...
Yeah I hear that.

In fact I heard each time that game title is mentioned an angel has his wings ripped off as punishment for letting such a foul substance poison the Earth.

"Lord of the Rings: The Return Of The King" on PS2. I bought it so my then girlfriend could play it - she's not a big gamer and even she thought it was one of the biggest mounds of stale excrement ever compiled. She hasn't studied game design, but she could pin point the failings of each turgid, complicated level and every crappy implementation of a clunky control system and stupid menu system.

After 45 minutes of "play"*, I put it back in the box. At least I managed to trade it the next weekend.

*it was actually more like slowly pushing drawing pins into my cheeks.

Pretty much any Sonic game, along with Endwar, there just wasn't anything interesting about it after the whole "voice command" thing wore off.

Left 4 Dead. Not because it's not a good game, but because I bought it for PC and now my PC is so laggy (incidentally it's a laptop bought for university) that I literally can't even play five minutes of it. The cutscenes are all OK and I don't have this problem on any of my other PC games (save for online DoW Soulstorm, but that's usually because of the other PC's people are using). I just don't see why I can't play L4D? I can't even get a refund either because I bought it cheap in the closing down sales at Zavvi, and that's gone bump in the recession, so there's no point in getting the refund or a replacement. Should have spent my money on Half Life instead... (although I'm getting that soon via Steam, £25 total for every Half Life game and the entire Orange Box. Gotta love cheap things... :D).
I pity you, no really, its a realy great game, hilarious in versus play and has great re-playability.

Age of Conan. Every other regretted game has been sellable/tradeable.

Bankrupcy is frankly too good for Funcom - I wish an irate barbarian would visit their offices with some pointed grievances/implements. Take your pick.

Mirror's Edge.

I fell in love with the concept, and really tried to like it despite Yahtzee's less-than-positive review, but in the end it just wasn't very well done.

Endwar. I beat the campaign, thought it was meh. Went online with it, everyone had flamethrowing tanks of doom while mine had BB guns. I want my time and money back.
