Spore. The reason it's a bad buy is because I bought it without knowing that my computer was incapable of playing it.

Most of these god awful nex-gen games. I can't believe I've dished out almost two grand on nex-gen games alone before I've even turned 18. Ffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

But I did enjoy spending another grand on a SNES, a PS3, and like a million PS2, PS1, PS3, SNES, N64, and Gamecube games (collectively). And yes that does include Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, Metroid, Eternal Darkness, ICO, Shadow Colossus, Red Dead Revolver, and God of War among other things. I get to enjoy the PS2 era of games now that I never knew in my childhood lol.

Spore. Yes, i bought it. Yes, i payed 50 bucks for it. Yes, i gored my own eye out afterward.
That's what torrents are for. Especially when its a game with DRM... or when you don't have any money left from all these damn games coming out every other month.

And if you gored your eye out from Spore, you would have just skipped the pain and gone for something more fatal after playing Two Worlds for just five minutes. Hell, Spore is like a godsend compared to Two Worlds.

That's why I rent before I buy a game, unless I have a feeling it's going to be great. The worst purchase I made was Gears of War 2 special edition when I could've just had the reg edition. Gold chain-saw gun...big whoop.

RPG maker 2. I spent entirely to much time playing the first one of the series and I anxiously awaited the sequel. Apparently the 3rd one was really good (and would have likely really sinked my teeth into it), but I could not bring myself to buy it due to how absolutely miserable 2 was.

Rainbow6 Lone Wolf = boring
Rainbow6 End War = Irritating
Rainbow6 Vegas on PSP = worse than the worst bits of the top two put together as well as crap graphics and an annoying control scheme (Don't mock me for buying it, it was on sale [$15]!)

Rockstar Table Tennis. (Full price)

They need to stick with violent games, and violent games ONLY.

Aye, oblivion was a buggy steaming pile that sucked everything good and interesting out of the series. After I shelled out the monies, I was horrified to only have I summoning at a time (entire concept of character) and pathetic limitations on enchanting and spell making. That, and I got sick of fighting the same painfully uninteresting enemies for 32 levels. Oh, though you rember that one part that was spectacularly cool that you still talk to your buddies about due to how addictive and engaging it was? No? Me either.

Eragon. They took the crappy book, made a still crappy but passably watchable film, then made a game from the crappiest parts of both, removed what little personality that remained and made the dragon riding segments (which *ought* to have been EPIC) so clunky and unplayable that I wanted to scream.

GTA IV, Fable II, Fallout 3, all wastes of time. Most of the fanboys around here are already looking for my home address and sharpening their swords but I really don't like the directions these games have gone in, though Fable wasn't much to begin with. Bethesda screwed up Fallout, and Rockstar actually thought it was a good idea to be pestered by your annoying friends every five minutes to go do stupid things when all you want to do is blow things up. Don't bother quoting me with none of that "WTF!? Dancingman is crazy!" I'm just not going to listen.
