Master Vampires are by far the most annoying for me. I chose stealth and i can't take a hit and the all seem to know exactly where my arrow is going no matter what.

Hmm, I'm level 39 with every single level used to boost magicka.. With both conjuration and destruction lvl 100 using the dualcast stunlock with summons solves the game, so I try not to use it too much, However a key part of me lately just not dying anymore is the atronach stone.
This bad boy gives you +50 magicka and a sick 50% magicka absorption (with a 25% magicka regen penalty but that shouldn't be a problem). This halves magicka damage and replenishes your own. I laugh at the sight of enemy mages since I activated the stone.
oh wait, TRAPS... they are by far my greatest weakness and nr. 1 death cause.. hateful things

Having mixed specialties in Destruction, One-Handed and Archery, I'm good at everything, but great at nothing. "Jack of All Trades, Master of None."
Frost trolls. For all time. Forward and back. Seriously. The only way I managed to kill them with my mage is summoning a flame atronach and just hoping it takes most of the punishment while I hurl fire spells with reckless abandon.
Seriously? Destruction magic works wonders on them. Keep spamming those overcharged firebolts, and they burn up in no time. The stun keeps em busy long enough for a recharge. My weakness is Morokei. Took me 30 minutes to kill that bugger. Shield, firebolt, run away, repeat.Doc Theta Sigma said:

Also, groups of powerful melee enemies at the same time. Can only block in one direction.

At low level they were nearly impossible to kill. But now they're not too bad. Still make me think twice about taking them on though.Techsmart07 said:

The ability to not loot those who I kill when transformed into a werewolf but whens he's not then I have no weaknes besides sneak.
Well now it looks like Ice Dragons are my character's weakness.
Fought my first Ice Dragon today, (why were those other dragons breathing ice if they weren't technically "Ice Dragons"?) and boy was he tough. His ice breath does a lot of damage AND it drains stamina.
Thank goodness I've invested a lot into Destruction.

Well-lit close quarters. Sneak attacks are my bread and butter, either from safe bow distance or up-close x30 dagger range. (I love my Dark Brotherhood armor <3) Sadly, most of my leveling came from non-combat skills like Alchemy and Smithing, so if blade and poison and the odd fire spell can't get the job done, it's time to reload from last save.
(Incidentally, I've noticed a lot of things in this game are weak against fire.)
