So what is the game you most recently finished? Tell us about it and what you thought of the game overall.

Don't remember ever "beating" a game, except when that flying level in Super Mario 3 on the SNES sent me into an uncontrollable rage.

But the last one I FINISHED was Left 4 Dead 2.

Neverwinter Nights's main campaign

I liked it, it was entertaining, despite being a Bioware cliche filled game it was fun to play through. I was an Elven Rogue and enjoyed being a master of Stealth.

I plan on doing some more modules, are there any custom modules anyone particularly enjoyed for that game?

I just beat Resident Evil 5 for about the 100th times about a week or two ago. Working on another run through of the first Dead Space and my first playthrough of Silent Hill Homecoming.

I just completed a playthrough of Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason, like an hour ago or so. The atmosphere, the setting and the story were amazing, even though the last part of the game was a major mindfuck.

Overall, I really liked the game, an underappreciated gem. Sure, the gameplay is a bit monotonous and neither was it really a challenge(I like that in games), but I would definitely recommend it for everything else in the game. The atmosphere is really tense and creepy. I've had for a while, since the Steam Winter Sale, but I haven't gotten around the play it before now.

What about you OP, why not tell us what your last game was?

Portal 2 last weekend - a rare occasion when I felt completely satisfied from the experience of completing a game.

Fallout: New Vegas. And now I'm on my second playthrough. :D

The ending:
I was going to go with Mr. House, but then he demanded that I wipe out the local Brotherhood of Steel chapter, and since I had become fast friends with them (and especially Veronica), I just couldn't abide by that, so I murdered Mr. House and took over his operation with the help of Yes Man (the AI), I made peace with most factions (even the Khans, who I was on less that friendly terms with) and drove both the Legion and the NCR out of the Mojave to allow for an independent New Vegas.

Brink I believe. It was an easy playthrough with my friend, I got all the achievements in 3 days from release of the game.

If you're talking about the original Neverwinter Nights, I'd recommend the Shadows of Undrentide/Hordes of the Underdark (which you'll probably have already)

and also the Kingmaker campaign, very enjoyable I thought, only it's a little short.

Fallout: New Vegas. Played through it a couple times now. I enjoy it a lot. The improved weapon variety from Fallout 3 was very welcome and I liked the quest writing better (especially for the main plot). Dead Money DLC was fun and a nice change of pace, but Honest Hearts was a little disappointing. Just not a whole lot there.

I personally found Honest Hearts a bit better when I loaded my realism mods into the game. Then the game became exceedingly more about surviving then exploring.

I finished the main story cases of LA Noire 2 days ago I believe. Since then I've been getting more achievements and did the two DLC story cases and awaiting the other ones to be released. Now alongside that I'm getting back into The Legend of Heroes Trails in the Sky.

Last game I beat was The Witcher 2, and it was fucking awesome. I'm on my second playthrough right now, probably would be done by now but I took a break from it mid-way through chapter 2.

Oh my god, someone else who knows and love Cryostasis *bro fist*. Fucking hell I thought I was one of the only people whose played that game. God I loved that game even though some of the ending was a little strange but I can forgive it.

I could see that adding some challenge. Really, I just felt like it lacked purpose. The interesting characters in Honest Hearts were the New Canaanites (tribals == boring). So, Joshua Graham and Daniel, and I don't think either of them got enough screen time or lived up to their potential.

Aside from that, HH was a railroad-y plot in a setting better suited for exploration. And a bit on the easy side, though that's largely my fault for out-leveling it.

Dragon age 2. I did like the faster pace battles but I think is was a little less strategy based even on hard.

Witcher 2 and screw you Yahtzee if you think the game was too unuser friendly, you console scrub. Only kidding, The Witcher was difficult in every aspect, but it was even more rewarding due to that.

Saint's Row 2.
I'm slow and don't expect to be playing the third until two years from now. (Although that is mainly because I am waiting for the DLC.)

The main quest of Oblivion.

Probably would have killed myself if there was no fast travel button.

Demon's Souls.

I ragequit a few months ago after getting killed by the same fucking boss a thousand fucking times (Man Eater), only coming back to it a little over a week ago. Made a new character from scratch, played like less of an idiot and it was fantastic. One of my favorite action RPGs now. Very excited about the "spiritual successor".
