Medal of Honor. I thought it was good. Better than I was anticipating. I think it was at the end of the level where you're the Rangers for the first time, and
all hope seems lost until the last second when you're rescued. I actually thought I was going to die, and I actually felt bad for the characters, especially when they called off the squad that was supposed to come help them.
It was at that point that I thought to myself, "Wow, this game is actually pretty good!". I then proceeded to complete the game that same afternoon.

Batman: Arkham Asylum. It's very good BUT: the campaign is painfully short, the sandbox map in the game is unnecessary and breaks the flow (they should have gone for maps like Crysis where they are open levels), the "counter" move rarely works (an image appears above an enemy who is about to attack, you press counter, nothing happens, you get hit and lose health), and every now and then Batman takes a very long time to deliver a single regular punch, often resulting you getting hit first.

Brink I believe. It was an easy playthrough with my friend, I got all the achievements in 3 days from release of the game.

I plan on doing some more modules, are there any custom modules anyone particularly enjoyed for that game?
If you're talking about the original Neverwinter Nights, I'd recommend the Shadows of Undrentide/Hordes of the Underdark (which you'll probably have already)

and also the Kingmaker campaign, very enjoyable I thought, only it's a little short.
Shadows of Undrentide is great, but then again I love Deekin.

OT: The last game I finished? Last week I assaulted Cydonia and although 4/5th of my squad was wiped out I still managed to guide a Blaster Bomb in to destroy the "Master Brain". So X-Com.

I recently finished with Batman:AA, although I think it would be more accurate to say that it beat me. Then I played through Portal for a nostalgia 'thing' with the release of Portal 2.

Semi-on topic. I was considering how I would respond to this thread when I realized something. I'm currently playing/bug testing a game modification for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (NARODNAYA SOLYANKA) and its psyche-batteringly difficult at any setting. I couldn't make up my mind whether to uninstall Batman:AA because the challenge modes have somewhat more appeal for me than the actual game. I just realized that I don't want to beat a game. I want the game to stay with me, locked in some unholy death struggle.

"Show me your pain!"

... um... can we just pretend I didn't say that?
I'll edit it out later.

I just finished Crysis 2 for a second time, this time on the hardest difficulty.

Honestly, I really like crysis 2. Fuck you PC elitists, If you honestly think that having streamlined controls automatically means that a game is dumbed down, you are an idiot. Using the suit's energy properly is still difficult and requires you to use strategy.

Okay. I've calmed down now. Moving on: it's well paced (very odd for an FPS these days), A decent length (Again, very odd for an FPS these days) and the nanosuit keeps everything interesting. Oh, and the game is fucking gorgeous.

If you want to count fighting games... Mortal Kombat since I beat arcade with all the characters, unlocked everything in the krypt, beat the challenge tower, and completeted the story mode. I think that constitutes beating the game. If not then Dragon Age Origins/Awakening.

THe first Infamous I got for free because of the PSN thing.

I thought the game was a 8/10. The gameplay was good, but all the characters felt uninteresting and I only gave a shit about Zeke. Cole was just too negetive to be even slightly interesting.
Same, but why would you care about Zeke? He let Alden break out killing dozens of guards, he always uses you just to get laid, and he would let thousands die so he could get superpowers(most likely for his own self-gratitude) from the raysphere. Sure he came back to help you fight Kessler, but he didn't change anything. Overall great game. 9/10

I won a Civilization 4 game, if that counts.

Otherwise it was probably an Unarmed F:NV character.

LA noire, it had a good story but my only complaint was the driving, which sucked so badly.

I just played through Heavy Rain and went back to get myself a couple of different endings. It's a really wonderful game for PS3 owners. A Choose Your Own Adventure game made out of nothing but quick time events sounds interesting on paper and mind blowing in reality. I give that game a 9/10. You get soooooo immersed in this game its crazy! I think part of it is because your characters can actually die for good and the story will just keep going on without them. Because there's a real penalty for failure it's really heart-pounding when youre in the thick of a fight. Check it out if you've got a PS3
