Bulletstorm, last night in fact.

Didn't stop playing til I realised it was half 2 in the morning and even then had to tear myself away. Some of the skillshots are hilarious.

In short, yes, I recommend it.

Panzer Dragoon Saga. For the sega dreamcast. (My 3rd copy)

I'm a collector. Part of the attraction is the huge price tag; 250 - 350.

Take it from me. As someone who lived through the atari to current day.... played almost all games on all consoles / platforms. Also from someone that plays games, more per day than anyone should. This is still in my top 5. RPG's don't even make it into my top 5 genres of game. That should convey just how good this game is... compared to nearly 5 decades worth of titles.

Went on a little shopping spree:

Gitaroo Man (PS2 - used game), Vanquish (PS3 - new), 3D Dot Game Heroes (PS3 - used game), LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars (PS3 - review copy)

I haven't played the first two yet.

3D Dot Game Heroes - Fun game if you have strong nostalgic feelings for old school Zelda-like games. If you grew up with games from the 5th generation and up, you most likely won't like this one. The graphical style reminds me of that one 'computer game'-area of Persona 4.

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars - The scale of the battles is a bit more epic, but in the end, it's your standard LEGO platformer. Tons of characters, the story got the typical humorist injection and there's still a co-op mode. If you like the previous installments you'll probably like this one too. It's just a shame they have to scrape the barrel of the Star Wars legacy barrel just like Lucas himself did before them - I really wish the creators would move on to an original IP...

Penumbra: Black Plague.

I haven't quite finished the game yet but I would still recommend it, it's a dark, tense and scary game and i'm loving every minute of it so far.

Crysis 2 and hell yeah I'd reccommend it. Really fun, nice long campaign. Multiplayer is a bit meh but worth it for SP.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww yeah. Been enjoying that so much. And I have had fun with the MP, but I haven't played that much cause my connection seems rather unreliable. I get disconnected from the server pretty quick. Meh, it was well worth it for the SP.

the last game I bought was Homefront, and sadly I would nto recommend it; too short, not exceptional gameplay, average story at best, poor multiplayer.

Borderlands: GOTY Edition for PS3...for $20

I'd highly, highly recommend it. $40 worth of DLC, PLUS the main game itself. You've got hundreds of hours of content there, assuming you play as every class once.

How long is the single player roughly, i usually dont spend money for just the single player unless its a rpg, but crysis 2 has really taken my fancy.

OT: Dragon age 2, yes its dumbed down compared to the first one, yes the story's abit meh, but the combat is solid and flows alot better, i played a human in origins anyway so i didnt give a crap about the forced race, i enjoyed my char having a voice and personality and there were alot of improvments gameplay wise on the first game, screw all the haters, i fucking love DA2.

Bionic Commando.

The new one.

The one with the retarded twist.

And, you know what? I don't regret it. It's a fun little experience, fairly unique and the swinging is really cool.

Bad Company 2 on PS3.

No I would not recommend it. It's a generic military FPS and the MP is entirely played by idiots who never ever spot and think that a good use of a Helicopter is to kamikaze it into a building or who use tanks simply as a way to get to the front-line and then abandon the tank next to a bunch of enemies who then use said tank against us. Then there's the idiot snipers who stay way at the back firing at enemies, which is not the least bit helpful.
You gotta get a squad together pal, then raping noobs is fun as hell in BC 2

Well I bought the first part of fortresscraft yesterday for 3 bucks. Don't know how I feel about it lol. The people making it are funding the development with actual sales of the piece he put on xbox live, so the thing you get for 3 bucks is like pre, pre, pre Beta quality. Runs like crap, glitches out constantly, literally no features at all, its bassicly just a skeleton of a game until he starts updating it over time.

So its bassicly a pre-pay situation that includes a cute little ghetto demo to tinker with.

As for actual game games, Dynasty warriors 7, and again i'm not really sure if I could recommend it, the game lacks depth, moreso than even traditional dynasty warriors games, which are pretty basic to begin with. Otherwise, it looks fantastic, combat is fine by non strikeforce standards, and it has a frikkin insane amount of content to plow through as long as you don't mind repetition.

Last bought The 3rd Birthday. I would recommend it to the Parasite Eve fans.
Was pretty awesome...except the ending.

Hmm...the last game I bought would be Icewind Dale 2 off of GoG...and yeah, if you like really old school RPG's and a (ton) of party based combat, as well as a decent story, I'd recommend it. Takes a bit of patience, but I'm enjoying it. Not bad for 10 bucks.
Though what I'm actually *playing* right now is Fallout 3, and I'd totally recommend that too <_<

Killzone 3.
and given I'm an internet peasant without the ability to play online, I would have to say that it's a game you could get away with borrowing from blockbuster and save the AUD$100...

The Witcher Enhanced Edition: Director's Cut(again, because my hard copy had some stupid disk redundancy problem) for $4.95.

Well, if I bought it a second time, what does that tell you?

New Vegas, 'cause my friend told me GameStop was selling it for new for $20. So I was like "Lolnoway", went and checked it out, and yeah. It really WAS $20.

I'm enjoying it, it feels so much more like Fallout 2 than 3 did, and really just feels more like Fallout in general. Add to that the tweaked graphics (it really does look nicer), greatly improved AIs and animal behaviors...

Yeah. I recommend it. It's amusing me.

Shit, dude. Did you get the same deal as I did? I just picked it up last Sunday from Gamestop for $20 bucks and have been absorbed in it ever since! It's a great game, much better than 3! Sure, the bugs are a bit tough to get past and the game crashes often, but damn if it isn't one of the best Western RPGs out there right now. It's totally worth the 20 bucks I spent on it. You should all get it. Get it nao.
I've got it for PS3, and haven't had a single game-breaking bug. The worst I've had so far, is every once in awhile, the AI will simply stop shooting at me, but keep pointing their gun at me.
