I bought a crapload of games at once last time. Like, 9 games at once. I had £100 to spend. But I'll say the last game I -recieved-: Red Faction: Guerilla.
I would. The destruction on it is just legendary. There's few things as satisfying than carving away at the bottom of a really tall tower with your sledgehammer then watching it slowly tilt then fall onto either a bridge or another building, and that then collapsing too. Or getting to a high speed in a big vehicle and smashing it through the wall of a narrow tower and coming out the other and watching that get demolished too. And the ability to capture enemy territories always seems fun in games too.

The last two games I bought were both Moon Diver and Crysis 2. The latter after the former. And yes, I highly recommend BOTH games.

Demons Souls(for Twenty Dollars!)
Yes, becuase im pretty sure we have all played and beaten it by now.
Played it, never beat it...
well why not... Is it the Tower of Latira or Valley of Defilement thats got you hung up?
Tower of Latria. Stupid tentacle face monsters and there insta-kills...

I got through every other pat of the game that I could, though.

I picked up Sims Medieval and as fun as it can be I can't recommend it because it crashes if you get too far in the game and there is still no patch for it. I'm appalled that EA would release such a broken game.

Last game I bought was Rift, and I would definetly recomend it. Apart from WoW and LOTRO it's the best MMO out there imo. I'm having a blast with it! End game is apparently still pretty barren though - but the game is only one month old to be fair.

It also lacks originality pretty severly. They've (shamelessly)stolen pretty much everything from WoW and WAR. The Rift system is pretty fun however, and they have tons of server events based on it.

It was Rift, and I would certainly recommend it.
Combine WoW and Warhammer Fantasy Online and add several layers of depth and a steep learning curve and you've got a great game!

Dragon Age Origins.

Pretty solid, but the combat is really rough for me, but I'm too embarrassed to turn down the difficulty.
If you want to carry through with that you'd best keep a rogue in your party towards the end.

Alan Wake off of Amazon for ~$10. I'd recommend the hell out of it. That game is one of my top 3 of 2010.
I shall continue my tradition of quoting and praising everyone I meet that loves this game. Good man.

OT: I think the latest game I bought was Marvel vs. Capcom 3. If you like fighters, its a pretty damn good one.

Resonance of Fate for PS3... I got it off amazon.com for $23 (including shipping). It's definitely among the better-crafted modern JRPGs I've tried... the combat system is quite complicated and challenging, the story is good for a laugh now and then, the item collecting and customization are in-depth without being too tedious, and the English voice acting is a step or two above average. Definitely recommended, at the price I paid. For $60, though... you'd have to be a bigger JRPG fan than I to make it worth that price.

The last game I purchased was Final Fantasy 3 on the ipod touch. It was quite expensive but that being said, it is a full JRPG game with the typical 2 billion hours of gameplay. It is remade in 3d, rather than the sprite based system it was originally released in... And I think it looks a little crisper than it's DS counterpart.

If you are into the old school Final Fantasy's or older style JRPG's in general, I think you will love this.

I certainly do ;)

Shift 2 Unleashed.

Playing it with full steering wheel setup on the PC.
As usual the handling is a bit odd and not very consistent but is better than a lot of racing games.
The racing AI is a bit stupid too (it seems like they just drive a line and don't respond much to what you're doing.
Despite these two points it is still quite fun and I keep going back to it.
All in all id recommend it if you're looking for a racing GAME, but if you're looking for a the high realism simulator it often tries to be then this isn't it. Get iRacing instead :p

Didn't buy it exactly as its a birthday present :p,

Metro 2033 - DEFINITELY!!! I love this game :D, Its like fallout, but the game russianizes everything. In Soviet Russia, Mutants KILL YOU.

Not joking, the game makes you feel very vulnerable and focuses on survival as well. Anyone who have played S.T.A.L.K.E.R would understand this, and yes this game is pretty much STALKER but linear. Play it for the immersion and try to get involved with the story. My only whine would be the GOD DAMNED SLIMES.

Bioshock - Played it, but i got it again somehow... It's good game, nice storytelling :D

I'm keeping Leliana and Morrigan in the party as must-haves, and Alistair is being used as a tank until I can get a better one.

My character is kinda worthless, for some reason. He's usually the first one in the party to die.

Any tips about that?

I know I shouldn't just charge in, but years of other RPGs have taught me to behave like that.

Dynasty Warriors 7.

AND HOLY GODDAMN YES I RECCOMEND IT.

It's like they actually made a real game.
