"In the Name of the King", directed by..... *shutters* Uwe Boll.

Seriously, it has Jason Statham, Burt Reynolds, and fucking GIMLI and it still manages to be one of the WORST, most cliche ridden, "what the fuck is happening" movie that I've ever seen. To be fair, I'd never seen a Uwe Boll movie until now.... now I understand why people hate his guts. Seriously, it's set in some sort of confusing Middle Ages version of England, and it has fucking NINJAS.

1 out 5. Just freaking awful.

Paranormal Activity
The first movie shot in cinéma vérité that I didn't immediately hate. And even if the story was familiar it was very well told and constructed.

A solid 9,870,001 out of 10,000,000

The last film I watched at the cinema was Zombieland. I thought it was great (but not quite as funny as Shaun of the Dead).

I saw the Bourne Ultimatum, but that review/summary would have to be a review/summary of the whole series, since Bourne's motives and backstory are explained not just in one movie, but in the entire series.

I'll go with Defiance. It's about a Jew named Tuvia who leads a defiance against the Nazis while hiding in the woods, hording weapons, building an army, and feuding with his brother. It balances badassery (Daniel-motherfucking-Craig, people.), humor, and action, all with the underlying thought that they're all going to die. Whether it's Nazis or roaming Nazi-fighting Russians, or even sickness. Plus, in the end, the Jews beat the shit out of a tank.

Twilight: New Moon. Sometimes, I hate having friends. They always convince you to do the stupidest of things only to regret doing it after.

Stephenie Meyer should have anything that she can relate to writting taken away from her.
Yes, it's a terrible movie. Terrible acting, terrible GCI, terrible casting, terrible plot(This goes for the books too). The fact that it didn't get a 0 is attributed to Robert Pattinson's absence from almost the entire movie.

Now excuse me whilst I hit my head with a metal bar so I can forget about this atrocity and talk about an actual good movie I saw last week.
There, all better. What was I talking about? Oh, yeah: The Godfather DVD bundle. I re-watched this masterpiece last week and damn, it was awesome. Yes, I even managed to enjoy part 3.

A Nightmare Before Christmas
What I still consider to be Tim Burton's best film, Nightmare Before Christmas deserves it's:
5 out of 5

And . . .

Dan In Real Life
One of the most genuine love stories I've ever seen.
4.5 out of 5.

I saw The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day and Old Dogs right after one another. The former was super special awesome. The latter was decent.

Paranormal Activity.

A little tense throughout, but the final few minutes is the only section that will make you jump. A good film, pretty unique to other stuff I've seen (never watched a 'shaky cam' film before, nor one set entirely in the same house).

It got a little annoying when people started screaming just because the door moved a little - that's the tension builder you idiots, not the bloody pay off.

Moon. Took me a while to get round to watch it but I'm glad I did. Nice Sci-fi head melter that might not be everyone's cup of tea, but still a breath of fresh air amongst the shitty rom-coms and blockbuster action jobbies that are floating about at the moment. And Sam Rockwell was excellent as usual. Will stick in my head for years to come I reckon. Recommended. 9/10

At home that would be WallE. In a theater...I think New Moon.

EDIT: No actually I was wrong about WallE. In my Philosophy class, we are watching Michael Bay's the Island. It's an alright movie, I like the story and characters. The filmography annoyed me at times though. We just got passed one of the main chase scenes, and the whole shaky cam thing got old quick. It's fine at first to really get the pace going, but it's used for so long and to such an extent that it becomes very distracting, and it's hard to tell what's going on.
