Technically you didn't pick an actual song so you'd just hear nothing and die.
Hang on, why is it not a song?

This may strike people as odd, but if I die at sea, I want the guy who sings the Spongebob Squarepants theme to sing, "What do you do with a drunken sailor?" and my made-up second verse. (See random statements thread for it.)
Otherwise, "Lullaby" by Thrice.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, any song by Thrice, including "The Artist in the Ambulance" if I die in an ambulance.

And Then There Was Silence by Blind Guardian.

Cause I plan on taking freakin forever to die.
I laughed really hard at this. I love BG. A fairly appropriate song, too: the best line from it is "When my weary soul find release for a while,/At the moment of death I will smile."

My Choices
A Better Place, a Better Time by Streetlight Manifesto
Flame in the Night by Freedom Call
Another Day by Freedom Call
Tranquilize by the Killers
All over the Nations by Helloween
Every Dog Has Its Day by Flogging Molly
Fade to Black by Metallica
If I'm promised heaven, Paradise City by Guns N' Roses or maybe Let There be Rock by AC/DC.

Or, if I were to die a particularly romantic death while defending a loved one, Seven Spanish Angels by Willie Nelson and Ray Charles, minus Willie Nelson (Charles's vocals on that song are FAR better than Nelson's).

The song that never ends. You know, the series of a few lines that just endlessly loop?

I win.
Dammit, I was going to say that.

I guess I'll have to go with Ben Folds Five- Still fighting it.

Thank you for reminding me (here, have an internet high five)

If I am buried at sea I would like to go down into the briny deep accompanied with a stiring rendition of the spongebob squarepants theme song (sung slower and in sad tones, maybe with some light sobbing between the verses)

Because it has no title,So there is no proof of its existance, though a link to it or such would fix that problem and make your victory over this thread concrete.

That would be particularly good if you were singing the "and I feel fine" bits.

Concertina by The Mars Volta (the ORIGINAL version. None of this Scabdates crap).

One time back I highschool I fell asleep on my 45 minute bus ride home, and I thought I'd died. I woke up and the sun was shining through the windows so bright I couldn't see out, it was warm, and Concertina was blasting through my headphones. I couldn't describe why, but I remember thinking "if this is death, the ride to the pearly gates, then OK. I'm ready".

Of course then my brain snapped back to reality. It took me a good day or two to figure it all out. It all seemed so peaceful, I was almost disappointed.

Sorry for gettin' all philosophical.

Gods of War by Manowar and preferably I'd be dying in some amazingly badass way when it's playing.

Barring that, The Asshole Song by Dennis Leary

caramelldansen(sped up to normal internet speed, of course) or that song that plays in a loop in the casino in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl(It's like they took every song, mixed them all together, remixed that and then sped the whole thing up); because even in death I want to be extremely sarcastic. :D
