Last thing that disturbed me was realizing something happened that I had noticed before, it wasn't as bad I suppose but the realization that, that thing had happened to me made me feel horribly, I would mention what it is but I don't really feel like it.

A Serbian Film *nods* Yup I watched it after hearing someone mention it and I have a pretty high tolerance when it comes to horror/disturbing/total mind f**k films, books etc.

It was definitely a film I wouldn't watch again because I wanted to.

A long time ago i visited the site writing.com and decided to read a random story. Everything was fine, a man gets transported to a strange place, turns out he is locked with a tiger, the tiger advances towards him, he curls into a ball to try to protect himself(everything was fine util that point), them the tiger started liking him(strange but still tolerable), them suddenly the tiger sits on him and he starts going into the tiger's ass. That moment i closed the browser and never visited that site again.

A couple days ago, I read "The Black Cat" by Edgar Allen Poe and it was quite disturbing... for obvious reasons.

There is this short story about a boy who starts to fancy his sister's barbie doll and having his first ummm experiences with a girl with it. He imagines a relationship with the doll until he starts falling for his sister's Ken doll and questioning if he is in fact gay. There is some imagery that will definitely stick with you and one particular scene that I would probably be banned for explaining. So yeah you should read it 0___o
Yeah, that's A. M. Homes.

Ever read Naked Lunch? That's a really disturbing book. Crash by J. G. Ballard is about people who are sexually arroused by car crashes and the scene where a man fucks a woman's thigh wound after crashing into a school bus is up there on the list of weirdest shit I've ever read.

Also Last Exit to Brooklyn is a fabulous book but you'll leave it shaken to the core when it comes to your basic assumptions about the goodness of humanity. It's just a non-stop rollercoaster of shitty people doing shitty things to other shitty people.

I've not read that one yet but Morrison's Arkham Asylum: A Serious House On Serious Earth freaked me out a lot. I love it, though, and I've read it quite a few times.

OT: Probably the music video to Every Time I Die's new single, Underwater Bimbos From Outer Space. Amazing song (obviously, it's ETID) but quite a disturbing video. It's supposed to show you the real horrors of life. C'est la vie!

That Alduin-to-Macho-Man-Randy-Savage mod video disturbed me.

Especially at around the 1:28 mark where you see the man breathing fire.

From his freakishly deformed mouth.

Frostbite doesn't work that way. If you were locked in a freezer you'd die of hypothermia well before frostbite got your fingers, nose and ears. Frostbite is basically the flesh getting so cold it dies, but it takes a few days for it to turn black and fall off. The only saving grace is that if it's that cold you can't feel it anyway.

.
I figured, I mean we are talking about a world where its enitrely plausable where a women (through an acident) can become "part plant" and where kill croc just has "a skin condition"

but it made sense in a way because he comes out of it..actually looking like a shark

I read this story about a mod for Morrowind (which may or may not actually exist) that was... Unusual, to say the least. Long story short, the entire gameworld undergoes a slow transformation, until at last the entire world is so dark you cant see 2 feet in front of you 24 hours a day, and all NPCs (friendly and hostile alike) just stand outside staring into the sky, saying only "Look to the stars" when spoken too. There are no stars.

Theres also something about a dungeon near the end, but the whole thing is way to long to recap here. I cant find it for the life of me, so if anyone could post a link to it here, that would be nice. Anyway, the whole thing legitimately creeped the fuck out of me, and many bricks were shat when the guards in Skyrim said the exact same thing to me. ;.;
that sounds creepy..yet absolutly facinating..I dont supose you can remember where you read that?

While it definitely isn't the most disturbing it is the most recent; Sonichu... just Sonichu. Any of you who know what I'm talking about I'm sorry any one who doesn't please don't fall prey to morbid curiosity.

Just finished reading George Orwell's 1984. The last part of the book.... *shiver* The talks with O'Brien, the quest for power and control. It makes you think, and thats what I think is most disturbing; the questions you ask yourself while reading the book, the answers you come up with and then the jumps in logic and connections that you make.

For me it was reading the world's shortest horror story.

The last man on earth sat in a room. There was a knock on the door...

This is a bit unusual but the last time I felt disturbed by something was when I was watching Yo Gabba Gabba with my 4-year-old sister for the first time. At first it was just annoying toddler show stuff about how you should eat well and then they got to a song about how the food wanted to be eaten and the cartoon food was all smiles and cheering as they were eaten. Then it went into the stomach and they were still just SMILING AND HAPPY. After being eaten and...it was just weird.

I had nose surgery yesterday and it's freaking me out. It's all crooked and bloody and I'm not allowed to blow my nose or wipe it for a week, and there's some splint inside there that's gotta come out eventually. Urgh.

The last thing I can remember that truly disturbed me was the dog kennel scene in The Thing. Just seeing that dog melt from the acid was... a whole new experience for me. I love animals, so seeing one die in such a brutal, raw manner like that, seeing it still alive and suffering with all of its fur and skin burnt off was just.. crazy man. I mean the god damn thing was melting, like you'd melt butter. Fucking brilliant movie and a great scene, but hard to watch the first two or so times.
