it can be anything..game, book, movie, whatever

reason for making this thread..I just finished the book "Assasins creed: the secret crusade"

it details Altiairs life..the events from the first and [i/] more importantly[/i] what happned after the first game...a gap that I hadnt been filed in on for a while

the reason I bring it up is because...it actually got kind of depressing

[spoiler/] after Altiar takes over..then goes off on a mission involving ghengis khan..he comes back to find everythings gone to shit because of his rival..Abbas has staged a coup...his freind Malik has been framed for his sons murder

and THEN in his efforts to restore order Malik is killed by the same guy who killed his son..so he uses the apple..but it goes wrong (causing the guy to rip arpart his own face...shudder) his wife Maria gets killed in the process..and then he runs away[/spoiler]

I dont know how much of that is going to be played out in Revelations...but anyway

to be honest I didnt expect much from a "ok" book based on a game...but yeah I found it surprisingly sad, and Im glad I read it as I have more of an Idea on what the hell is going on

anyway

disscussion value: whats the last thing you finished and was it any good?

I've just finished drinking a cup of tea - does that count? It was pretty good ;)

Other than that, I recently finished reading Game of Thrones. I really enjoyed it - must get round to buying the next book in the series soon

An exam on how to determine protein structure via spectroscopical methods :'-(

Regarding movies/books I watched Aeon Flux the other day, quite underrated as a film. And I just started reading Coalescent by Stephen Baxter if that counts.

I guess the last thing I had finish is finish watching this comedy film called My Idiot Brother. In my view it wasn't great but it wasn't too bad however to be fair I wasn't really paying to it in some of the parts.

I finished a peanut butter sandwich.

There's still half a bag of potato chips on my desk, so that'll probably be my next project.

I won't spoil Revelations for you, but as I'm certain you've heard by now: there are indeed portions of Revelations where you get to play as Altair again. From the sound of things, that book just goes way more in depth on the Altiar portions, as his portions in Revelations are specifically what happens after AC 1, the first fall of the Assassins thanks to Abbas, and the rise of Altiar as Grand Master.

As for what I just finished, a Krispy Kreme doughnut...god, I swear they've gotta back crack into those things...they're sooooooo flippin' good.

As for gamer-related completions, I played through Megaman X last night, so that was fun. Before that I had completed a playthrough of Dragon Age 2 that I started back in the summer, got to the final chapter, and was disheartened by the fact that my game was still apparently glitched and wouldn't give me my achievement for earning Sebastian's loyalty. However when I loaded up the game, there was an update, and upon talking with Sebastian once it gave me my achievement. Huzzah!

I just finished watching Green Zone.

The cameras they used did not handle low-light levels well at all, and the film as a whole was pretty boring.

The first season (a second one is on the way) of the Thundercats reboot.

I've liked what I've seen so far.

Just finished doing post production on a photoshoot I shot on Monday.

Thought technically replying to this thread is the last thing I finished.

Last game: Driver: San Francisco. Fun game, but I hated the dares and a lot of the missions that weren't needed to unlock the story felt a bit soulless. But overall good.

Last movie: Thor with Rifftrax. The movie is pretty good. But with the Rifftrax it was much better.

Last Book: Ummm... I dunno. I don't read that much. At least not books or particular stories.

I just finished washing the dishes. My life is SO boring . Thinking about starting to do drugs to make it more interested. For some reason, drug users get laid more often .

This Fan Made Newgrounds Commercial [http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/584744] is the last important thing I made. Right now, I'm working on a Candle Cove Cartoon [http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/583445].
