Hello! Figured we could use a fun thread around here for a change c: So the question is, What is the newest addition to your nerdcave? is it a cute plushie? A badass statue? A poster, or perhaps a nice art book? Whatever it is, share it! I'll start:

So earlier today I was going about town finishing up some errands and I figured I'd stop into a gamestop I haven't visited in a while. What I found was irresistibly adorable:

WIND WAKER PLUSHIES! I grew up on Nintendo games, and Wind Waker was the first game I ever got on launch day. From the art style to the gameplay, it was an unbelievable masterpiece. It was also heart-wrenchingly cute :3

So as you can imagine, many squees were had when I found these huggable little things X3

So what about you, escapists? What's your latest addition to your nerdcave?

If I had been able to gone to the MCM Expo Manchester, I would had gotten alot of nerd stuff (Fuck them for getting rid of on the day ticket sale!).

In saying so I did bought an Amiibo Rosalina yesterday.

I knew beforehand that she is rare in the US (UK here) so it was a suprised when I saw her and there was only one of her among the others. I pretty much took no chance (it happened to me twice that if I see something I like and not buy it straight away, it will be sold out a week later!) and just impulse purchase her.

Technically Toon Link is my favourite fighter out of SSBB but I am comfortable at using Rosalina (I kept using her for target pratice to try to get the Mii mask and armor).

EDIT- I ordered a Pacific Rim figure Romeo Blue cos I'm heading the city tomorrow to buy it at the comicbook store. I loved the mech in Pacific Rim but I took my times at which one to buy due to the poseablity and can't decide which one is coolest!

Well, I recently received this for my birthday.

Which isn't the ideal shirt (There's a typo in the cryptogram at the bottom and it PISSES ME OFF) but I really liked the design and GF doesn't really have any official merchandise to speak of, so, some random shirt of Redbubble it is!

Also I guess this is more an addition to my nerd person rather than my nerd cave but, eh.

I recently obtained my Funhaus house poster.

Best twenty dollars I've probably spent.

Does it have to be video game related? Because I collect a lot of junk that isn't related to video games too. :C

I recently got another cool dragon statue, and a lil' Zen "money tree" that's meant to bring wealth and prosperity.

Dragons are nerdy, right? :D

Whatever, just wash your hands.

I spent way too much on them too, which annoys me, if I wasn't already in the stupid store I would have just passed.

I recently bought

It's technically a men's shirt because apparently women don't get cold so the only women's shirt available with that design is a tank top and as a person who is perpetually cold hahahaha no.

A couple of months ago I was in London briefly on my way up to my sister's wedding so of course I made a point to go to the official Harry Potter store and get myself a Hufflepuff T-shirt. It's quite unbearably bright yellow though so at the moment I don't go outside in it and I just use it as jammies.

Apart from that, it's not what I've got really, but what I've got coming. I've preordered both the Pip-Boy Edition and the Fallout Anthology. Cannot wait. I need to buy more stuff.

I bought a behind the scenes book about the making of watchmen. It has a lot early scripts and notes by Allen Moore. It's really interesting, seeing what goes on behind the scenes. Sadly Moore himself had nothing to with the project, so it's just the artists perspective.

Otherwise? I got the entire Evangellion series to about sixty bucks, which is a steal, and the Berserk DVDs.

Oh boy, you asked for it!

1. My big Escapism UK photo that the lovely and dearly missed Eleuthera made for a bunch of us. Plus a small print of something Achievement Hunter related.

2. Some plushies. Kirby, a White Mage Chocobo (with his hood down, sorry!), Gandalf, Legolas and Richard from the webcomic Looking For Group.

3. Shelf 1 part 1 of my smaller stuff. Lots of angels and swans, some chinese stress balls, my D&D dice, some semi precious stones in a box, a postcard from OlliCrusoe :3, and 2 out of 4 dragons.

4. Shelf 1 part 2. 3 dragons, a gargoyle, a cool Cthulu, my pokemon gen 1 badges, a paper crane someone made me (I'm kinda sentimental >.>) and some cool tinier junk.

5. Shelf 2 part 1. my penny jar, some necklackes in the back, some *cough* alcohol, and a bunch of cats. As well as a boomerang from Aussie, some Dragon Balls, and an awesome map thing that I dont have a frame for yet.

6. Shelf 2 part 2. piggie bank, some more semi-precious stones hidden around, a ton of koalas and a mini Japanese screen hiding my mannequins naked shame.

7. Just a minecraft piggie and a mini Alpaca thing. Plus a nice postcard of something cool.

8. My giant Totoro bed/chair chilling with a Squirtle that someone gave me. I really should send him back :'c he misses his dad.

9. Some nerdy posters

10. A halo poster I bought from an awesome artist on tumblr, and some of my chinese knots (and a turkish eye).

11. My LOTR map poster and my dream catchers.... No I don't have an obsession with them. What do you mean?!? D:

Don't ask about the crappy wallpaper and stuff. I'm only renting so I can't redecorate.. Not that I can afford to anyway.

Found one last copy on a game store shelf. Won't likely have much use for it in game purposes, but the lore intrigued me. These things are out of print, so I wouldn't be surprised if their prices skyrocket over the years online.

I've had this picture as one of my desktop backgrounds for a while, and I decided to have it printed as a poster:

It's the Lagrangian density for the standard model.

Of course, this collection would't be complete without the standard model Lagrangian itself (also going to be a poster):

In case you didn't know, and were interested, the postcard is "Water Dragon" by Anne Stokes, a.k.a. Ironshod. You can find more here, http://ironshod.deviantart.com/.

Ot, my newest additions would be some cheap shirts, and some tools. Which I guess could be used to fight of zombies, not that that will ever happen.

That's kinda weird actually, 'cause I'm 90% sure I bought it in France..... Unless some postcard guy is stealing art off google, which I wouldn't be surprised about, sadly. :C

Now you have the opportunity to give the artist proper credit.

These t-shirts:

I love them, and they were cheap too, only £2.99 each. I love me a bargain.

I'd probably say the LEGO AT-AT that I got recently. Although I currently have nowhere to properly show it off.
