I just finished Battle angel Alita, well, as much as you can finish a manga that hasn't ended yet.....................

The manga has everything from cyborgs, to martial arts, to crazy philosophical commentary, to vampires.

And James Cameron is making a movie of it........ but it wont be out till forever.

Not that big of a manga reader, truth be told. However, I re-read xxxHolic by Clamp recently (hasn't finished, though, which is annoying, because it's a very good series that just needs resolution... :/ ). Same with Ragnarok by Myung-jin Lee, I mean seriously, when is his freakin' hiatus from the manwha going to end?!

The last manga that I properly finished was probably Aria absolutely ages ago. And I loved that series, dippy characters, lush backgrounds and an easy going plot.

I hope to finish Gunslinger Girl some point... man, it's such a punch-to-gut series...
Actually xxxHolic is finished, clamp is coming out with a sequel tho.
Latest manga that I've finished is Unbalance x Unbalance. Weird manga but funny overall I'd say its about a 6/10

I actually don't read much manga, but I read all of Sailor Moon and Codename Sailor V about a week ago. Wow, that was awesome. Too short, considering how long the anime went on, but it was so much better, and the art was so beautiful! Why have I waited all this time to read it?

I finished Negima and...what the hell happened? Oh man, talk about tripping at the finish line. Just...blah. There had better be a sequel like everyone's hoping. The major question of that entire series gets answer off-scene, right after another BIG question gets raised and causes a million other questions to come up because of it. To have it end like that...bad. I'm waiting for the last English book to come out in April, but I'm not looking forward to reading it.

I also finished Ninja Girls. That was...okay, though I feel the series lost its way and was struggling with itself toward the end. One of the main characters doesn't even get a resolution. She just vanishes, like the author forgot about her or something.

Does Codename: Sailor V count? I don't think so because it kicks off Sailor Moon, but I finished that one also.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Naruto ends. At least, it better be ending here. The manga's played all its cards now with this war, so if someone stronger comes along after all this, I'm going to be mighty annoyed.

Tokimeki Tonight.

I was just reading over it over the weekend, and cant believe that it was written decades ago.
Ranze is so cute, and Makabe-kun is so stereotypically hot.

Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro = Beetlejuice + Black Butler + Detective Konan. Starts off as a mystery/comedy then shifts into grizzley horror midway.

Have you heard of Hells Kitchen? It's very similar (not sure if it has the same author). It's about a demon who wants to turn this kid into a chef so he can eat his soul. Pretty good.

OT: Last one I finished? "En Passant", I think. Has a Chess motif and the protagonist is the King, well the King of Pessimism anyway (links any and all comments to "better off if you were dead" and promptly tries to commit suicide). Obviously cut short, not very long, but good fun.

I'd say it counts. It does have a beginning and an end.

Last full manga series I read was Black Cat. I really enjoyed it. A couple of Sweepers (bounty hunters) trying to get by get sucked up into a conflict between an Illuminati style organization and another group using Tao magic dead set on its downfall. At 20 volumes, it feels just the right length and I'm glad it didn't get dragged out like some other popular shonen manga.

Most of the ones I'm reading are yet to wrap up, so the last one I actually finished was probably Wolf Guy - Ookami no Monshou (apparently the subtitle is important because there's a very different manga simply titled Wolf Guy).

I was really satisfied with most of the ending --despite being incredibly hard to stomach at times-- but for some reason
they threw in a completely unnecessary twist that hints at a sequel we don't need.

So what was the last manga you read to the end? Was it any good? Oh, and to clarify: When I say "finished," I'm talking about reading the entirety of a manga that the creator has finished.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

And yes, it was fucking awesome. I highly recommend it. Also, it's short - only 3 books - so the investment to read is minimal.

Score: 9.5/10

Currently reading the spin-offs.
