My NES still works after...27 years?
The Atari and Intellivision MIGHT still work. I need a goofy pre-coax connection to test it.
Yea, same here. I think my Atari still works. I don't remember it breaking, but I have that dumb two prong thing also.

SNES has lasted about twenty years and it still works. Now, just to find that sneaky wee scart... anyway, I've also had my PS2 since early 2000s I think. PS1 a wee bit longer, likewise with my Gameboy Color! Though I haven't tried the former in donkeys.

I also still have "my" SNES (my now 29year old brother bought it, and gave it to my 22 year old brother, who then gave it to me).
And it works fine as ever. Still the same controllers and they also still work. Which is surprising considering how much anger and nerdchildrage they had to withstand.
Haha, it's actually my 45 year old mother's! I've sort of claimed it mind... I think there's also an atari lying around somewhere. Actually, it was my great granda on my mum's side who got her and my aunt into gaming! Now I'm talking classic Pong and original atari. Hells. Yeah. As a matter of fact, the box the SNES was one is under my bed. Oh! And we have this scope thing, you might have it too?

First XBox 360 lasted 10 months.
The repair of that lasted 9 months.

So, I got a new one that lasted a year before it RRoD'd on me again.
The repair of that one lasted a year.

Got a new one again that lasted 11 months. That RRoD'd.
Fixed it then decided "Fuck this."

So, I trade that in for an 120GB Elite, a second hand console. That has lasted going on three years (I think three years, can't remember when I got it. :p) now with no RRoD's and just the odd "Cannot read disc" error.

Before that though, a N64 that survived for fuck knows how long before my dad binned it for no reason. (Some lucky fucker got a free N64 that day. XP) and before that, a PS2 that survived 9 years. My current second hand PS2 may be broken though, not really sure. :p

Pretty self explanatory.

My current Xbox has been in service the last 4 and a half years, and I'm going to retire it on the 20th, in favor of the new GoW3 Xbox.
God of war 3 Xbox? wtf?

OT: My PS3 is still going strong for 3 and a half years now. My NES is going strong since 1985. My buddies Intellivision still works...1979. so yeah....When the current gen gets there then we can talk about console Longevity lol. My ps2 also still works lol.
Gears of War 3

OT: I am sure my N64 works, so it's going on 14 years strong.

My playstation was bought in 1997 and still works, not only does it work but it also sees regular use. No part has ever failed, it has never needed repairing - so, 14 years and counting.

Atari 2600... got it in 1986 as a gift from my uncle. Not sure how long he had it before that. Still works.

The only console I've ever had die on me was a Sega Genesis... and that was from an accident.

Well, if we're not counting my original GameBoy, I've had my xbox 360 Elite since release date (August 24th, 2007), so just over 4 years.

My sega genesis still works. And it's got to be like, 16-17 years old.

MY PS2 is still in fine working order, and that is after 10 years of me using it constantly (though admittedly that has been a lot less recently)

I've owned every nintendo console ever, and as far as I know they all still work to this day, I sold the NES that was older then me to buy a 360 back in 2009 but it worked when I sold it.

the 360 RROD'ed in 6 months sent it to microsoft and it has done fine since.

My Pikachu edition N64 still works, and I got that when it came out. Spent most of it's life in a box though, it'd probably have broke if it was in use for that whole time.

My original, launch release, Nintendo GameBrick still worked when I gave it to my uncle for his kids a couple years ago. I loved that big, blocky, could-be-used-as-a-weapon-in-a-pinch handheld.
