Lovign the fact so many old Sega Genesis and SNES consoles are out there and still kicking!

So, I've got a SEGA Genesis, Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), N64, Xbox (Original Launch Big Black X-Brick), Xbox 360 (Orignal Launch White Brick-360) and a Wii (Original Launch Wii Sports edition). All these consoles are hooked up to a single 52" LCD TV, just because I can. With Surround Sound for the current Gen consoles. All of them work perfectly fine, except the 360, which sounds like a jet engine and has Red Ringed Of Death not once, not twice, but THREE FREAKING TIMES! Been fixed by microsoft and returned all three, under warranty all times.
The Genesis and SNES were scabbed off my Uncle because he went the PS route and ditched Nintendo. I was more than happy to do a weekends chores for him in return for the much loved old consoles. The N64 was bought of a family friend who was collecting all the consoles but was forced to move on short notice to another country with little storage space, so I'm not actually sure how old it is...
As for handhelds, still got my original Gameboy. Got it the day it came out, with Tetris and Mario Bros. Many long years were spent playing and replaying Pokemon Yellow on long roadtrips. My current save is at Cerulean City, mostly cause I'm the one doing all the driving these days!

My N64 still works great, and I've had it for over 10 years. My aunt's original NES that she gave to me works but I don't have any of the cords.
As far as Xbox's go, I gave my old Xbox to my now-ex girlfriend, so I don't know if that still works, and my latest is the Reach 360, so not very long.

My gamecube has been working for...ever.
My playstation 3 (had it for like 2 years now) hasn't broken down either.
Nothing ever broke on me, now I come to think of it. Not even my handheld gameboys. (obviously, gameboy colour is indestructable, but my GBA DS still works too, and I've had that since it was out).

I've got an original PS1 with a pre-Dualshock controller that I play FF VII & IX on. Also, this laptop I'm typing on once had coffee spilled on it and totally broke, only to up and work again about 6 months later.
Honestly, I think it's my PS3; had it since release. My family used to be pretty poor so I only got a bunch of barely working second hand consoles that other families no longer wanted in favour of the newer, shinier consoles so they generally never lasted more than a year. Then in the PS2 era I effectively murdered mine by going on a Ratchet & Clank binge (1 through 3, pretty much only stopped for sleep). So yeah, PS3.
I still have every console from my childhood and they are all still in perfect working order. But in contrast to that, I have had 3 different ps3's since its launch and all of them have failed because of the same disk read defect. on the other hand, I've had my 360 for 3 years now and my friend had it for 2 years before me and it hasn't had as much as a warning light. Whats the message here...
My Sega Genesis is over 20 years old and still works perfectly, I don't know the exact age since my parents bought it before I was born. All my other consoles are recent though. My first PS fell off a shelf, my PS2 was sold for drugs. I then got a PS1 and a PS2 slim, so they're not old.
Atari 2600: Garage Sale in mid 90's - died early 00's if memory serves correctly
NES: Garage Sale late 90's - present, started displaying some odd colors, though its probably the carts.
N64: bought new 1998 - present, though controllers' analog sticks are very brittle & in poor shape.
PS1: bought new 1997 - in 2007 laser died, gave to friend to fix, never really got it back.
Orginal Xbox: bought new 2003 - still working, great controllers too (not the Duke)
Slimline PS2: bought used & refurbished in 2008 - ???. It never worked well, burned rings on my games & DVDs, destroying them. Its a PoS.
Wii: 2009 - present

Pentium Celeron
Its win95 era, still runs, though rarely used.

AMD Athlon XP 1.4 GHz
?Radeon 500 something? (whatever it is, not quite as underpowered as the processor)
