Last week I broke my record of 15 hours for no reason. I got 7-8 hours of sleep everyday and then I went to bed at 9 am (I work night shifts) and woke up at 2 am the next day. I just randomly slept for 17 hours, it was weird. Anyway what's the longest you've ever slept?

Like non stop sleep with out waking up at all?
If that's the case, I can manage 3 or 4 at most, seriously, no matter how sleep deprived I get I always wake up every few hours.

EDIT: Except from that time I had 'flu. I managed to sleep for three days straight.

13 hours.

I worked the night shift at the time, and went to bed about 7 am. I woke up to the sound of my family banging around the house, looked at my clock, and it read 8 o'clock. Not realizing it was 8pm I was rathered pissed at my family for being so noisy in the morning. . . until I realized what time it actually was, and then had to scramble to leave in time to get to work.

Nineteen hours; I was sick with a raging fever that kept me up all night, then when I managed to fall asleep the next day, I woke up nineteen hours later with a huge urge to do something just so I could move. Never felt so restless in my life.

Hmmm, are we counting toilet breaks, if not, I'd say up to 30 hours when I was sick that one time. Felt like I could go more as well.

17 hours after staying up all night. I went to bed at 4 PM and woke up the next morning and didn't even hear my alarm clock.

I don't know exactly how long b/c I was hallucinating at the time, but it was after my friend and I tried the sleep diet thing. (4 hours awake, 20 minute nap; repeat forever.)

About 17 hours I think. IT was after our schools ski trip. A 19 hour bus drive through the night there and back and having to wake up at 6 every morning for a week. I am NOT a morning person.

I'm curious. A sleep diet thing? 20 minute naps can't be healthy. Care to explain further?
