It means 'great wise one' in German.
I think it's quite fitting.
I don't think I understand it correctly ;)

Mine is a semi German/English variation of ryebread.

That has been my gaming-nickname like forever.

Mc-up-O-Bob

Pretty much a made up name that I thought was unique. So far haven't ran into anyone else using it.

Needed an interesting name for a character in an online Roleplay I was doing with some friends, so I went with Aetheora. No meaning whatsoever, I just have a knack for unique and fantasy names, so I went with it. Became one of my favourite names I ever came up with for a fantasy character

Anyway, nothing special.

Crimson is a hue of red, my favorite color.
Blaze because of my platonic love of fire.

My love of the Metal Gear Solid series...it actually popped into my head in late 2006 when I asked my dad if I could make a PSN account on his new Playstation. Having recently fell in love with Metal Gear Solid 3, I tried putting AnotherSolidSnake indicating my skill in the games, but PSN wouldn't allow that many letters...so I had to shorten in to AnthrSolidSnake. I DESPISE people on PSN when they say ArthurSolidSnake. Why the fuck does everyone say that?! Is Another really THAT hard to understand out of Anthr? Maybe it's the lack of vowels? Idk, either way, it's been my username for pretty much every online thing since it's pretty much always available.

Reminds me of when I used the name 'jesuis_napoleon' on Warcraft 3, and everyone seemed to think it was 'jesus_napoleon' and also that I was referring to Napoleon Dynamite rather than the French dictator.

When I was young, I played the Warhammer fantasy game. I had a no-so mighty horde of Goblins and the one who led them was called Gitty. 101 - because I like it.

That's all there is to it.

I guess it came from sleep (zzz) kill, as I prefer to sleep during the day and stay on the PC during the night. I thought of changing it a few times, but it's been years since I've started using it so I'm not too eager to do it.

Captcha: pool boy Well damn, what blonde wife do I get?

Abbreviation of a Neurosis track: The Eye Of Every Storm.
Not my favourite by a long shot, but not many contracted to make an actual viable name.

So back in high school, I would doodle characters and then write in little biographies for them between (read: during) classes. Because I was a bad ************, I eventually started working on demons and devils.

I was listening to Korn and Powerman 5000 a lot back then. IT WAS A PHASE.

Anyway, one in particular was a demon sorcerer who used magic based around mathematics. And because I was also watching a lot of Dragonball Z on Toonami (DON'T JUDGE ME) he of course had an ultimate attack and it of course had a cool name. It was called "Solution 6^3", because apparently a mathematical equation based around the Number of the Beast would blow all sorts of shit up. (6x6x6, geddit?)

Well naturally, it occurred to me that "6 cubed" sounded pretty cool, way better than the internet handle I had been using at the time, which was... Decidedly worse. The "Q" is there mainly because when pronounced as intended, they sound exactly the same, and the Q just looks cooler.

Also, the first three characters kinda look like a little derpy face. That has nothing to do with the story and in fact I didn't realize it until much later, but I'm still happy with it. d(OuO)b

As a child I would mispronounce my, at the time, favorite DC character's name as MrMixelPixel. The character's name was of course Mxyzptlk. Our favorite reality bending super villain. Well... next to Discord anyway.

Inklewert was the result of a frustrated attempts to get a yahoo username that wasn't take in the early 2000s. It is a jumble of letters that sounded vaguely like a word. Also it resulted in 0 findings when i searched for it on altavista. Now, I have had it for over a decade and have used it everywhere! If you google "inklewert" you will see all my crowning achievements on the interwebs...

essentially a hacked twitter account and ebay feedback ---- I do not live a glorious life.

<---------see here

It's the name of the main character in "The Last Remnant", the first big JRPG to make it to PC in ages. Where it rocks by the way, not like on XBox 360, because it has been massivly overhauled gameplay-wise.

To be honest, he actually is the most annoying character in the game but pronouncing his name with a fake Japanise-Anime accent is just so much fun.

I had just started a file in Devil summoner, it gave me an option for first and last name. So I wanted a goofy name for an individual who summons not quite so goofy demons and came up with " Kitty Jingles"
The name just stuck, this one is just one of the many variations of the name I have used for web site/forum screen names.
also a now ex girlfriend called me kitty while we where dating, that too stuck.
My real name is john, go figure.

'nightingale' as in member of the Skyrim trio. It's just meant to show my love of rogues, thieves, and stinky sewers. :p
