I'll agree with those, as well as repetitive missions and poor controls.

Also: Welcome to the Escapist. Hope you enjoy your time here.

Those three and people who, when things go bad, assume that they're perfect and it's their teammates who suck.
Oh and Happy Posting!

Welcome to the escapist bro, hope you like it here.

Anyway things that annoy me include frustrating an inprecise movement controls in sequences that require precision timing, enemy encounters that are just flat out unbearble and time limits... and of course escort missions.

Definitely when someone leaves their mic on, and all you can hear is their raspy breath gently raping your ear.

Also, welcome to the escapist!

spending 3 hours organising your characters gear and Progressing far into the game, for it to glitch and corrupt your save file, causing you to have to load up a previous save file (before the Reorganising etc). KOTOR2.... goddamn it

Any moment in an RPG where you find out that an enemy has a protection spell you simply can't dispell.

And the moment where I was playing a Wild Mage in baldurs Gate 2 and was turned into a squirrel by a wild surge during the damn final boss fight. In a LAN game with only one other character. Nearly got us killed but in retrospect that was more funny than annoying.

Also dying just before a checkpoint - when designers omitted quicksave again.

Interesting first post topic - Hello escapists!

Getting monstrously pwned by a boss 50 times.
I agree with this if it's because of some cheap trick the boss can use. Like Jinpachi in Tekken5 with his stun, 60% damage 'laser' and that attack that heals him.
I disagree if you mean one of those 'normal' Ninja Gaiden 2 bosses, they just require that you learn his or her attacks. I averaged at 15 deaths per boss but with some practise I know I could come out of some boss fights without ever losing health.

My most annoying experience is most of Ninja Gaiden 2, but the complaint is for every game with this.

Enemies are too random, they weren't placed in an intelligent manner to provide a fair but difficult challenge.
I mean, imagine the following fight: archers with explosive arrows in a large area without cover.

A good game would add some normal ninjas to increase the challenge without it turning in to a luck based encounter. Even some stronger dual-sword ninjas or a few magicians would give a challenge without being cheap.
Ninja Gaiden added wardogs with explosive shurikens and katanas. Wardogs attack faster than Ryu, so the encounter was nothing more than blocking and hoping the archers missed while I used the scythe to kill the dogs.(it was the scythe or the kusari-gama, because if you focus on one dog the others will not wait, both are slow and leave huge openings for an explosive to hit)

Well I'm currently having a fairly frustrating experience with World in Conflict-After installing Soviet Assault yesterday, it completely wiped all my stats-campaign progress, settings, even multiplayer maps I've downloaded-overnight. Problem being that I didn't do anything to it overnight, and I had closed and restarted the game a few times before with no problem, so I guess it just has long-term memory problems (if anyone can help me please do).

I was an idiot for not knowing this, but although cod4 was a great game there was one thing that pissed me off. I was unaware that enemies infinitely respawned in buildings and defensive positions until you stormed them, so I would stand there patiently picking off enemies that kept popping up in windows for ten minutes wondering what the fuck was going on.

Call of duty WaW Multiplayer. When you get to rank 50 and above you get super guns like the ppsh and stuff. While this isn't a problem it is annoying when someone like me who doesn't rank up every day and is still on rank 30 comes up against a room full of super weapons. In single player there was one time in assassins creed where 3 guards took it in turns grabbing and throwing me over and over again (I didn't have grab-break at the time) for about 10 minutes.
