Unless GOG does something awesome on the sales front, the next one is probably Torchlight II. I've already paid for Guild Wars 2 (and would un-pay for it if I could, now), so that doesn't count.

And that about wraps me up for the year, unless GOG adds some more good stuff (already have all of the good stuff they currently have!)

Well I'm about to buy two games, Alice: Madness Returns and one other, but I can't decide between Castlevania: Lords of Shadow or Shadows of the Damned.

So basically I can't decide whether I want to kill demons seriously or if I want to kill demons while listening to penis jokes and pop culture references.
Having played both, I can say this with a strong level of confidence.

Go with the dick jokes. It's a less painful experience.

Either Kingdom Hearts 3D or Beyond Good and Evil.
One is a series I bloody love, the other I game I really just want to try.

Borderlands 2 and Darksiders 2. And Guild Wars 2. Hmm, lots of 2s. Seems to be a year for sequels for me.

you tried the demo yet?
no, I dont really do demos

I just look at reveiws and see if the game interests me...its in 3rd person which is a plus and even though its modern military it has an interesting concpet

plus its the only "new" game that seems halfway interesting thats out right now...dishounoured/assasins creed 3 seem ageis away
Ehhh... I hate to be a downer but I would strongly recommend you rent it on console or try the demo before buying, because from what I have played the interesting story is not enough to overlook the actual gameplay being incredibly tedious and repetitive.

OT: Well baring any amazing sales the next game I plan to buy that has a fixed release date is Dishonored, but there are a few games with non-specific "summer-fall" release dates that may or may not come out first, those being FTL, Starbound, (both promising indie games that you should check out) and to my utter shame Torchlight 2.

Persona 4: Arena!

It's less than a month away. Me so happy.

After that, it's Persona 4: The Golden.

I really like Persona. :3

Next purchase is probably going to be either the new Penny Arcade game or ArmA 2, just so I can play DayZ. Next physical disc purchase will be either Borderlands 2 or Halo 4, depending on when I have the cash.

The gameplay is rather uninspired (except for the sand mechanics) and Bennet the Sage says it should probably be a rental despite it's ambitious storyline and the choices that the player has to make in-game.

honestly I just wanted a good game to play on my PC and I'm not sure its up to LA noire

Well, I'm still waiting to see how Borderlands 2 turns out on PC. The first game left a VERY bad taste in my mouth and it wasn't until I installed several community-made patches, fixes, and mods that I truly started enjoying the game. So basically.....I'm waiting to see if Gearbox can redeem itself. Especially if they're expecting me to drop sixty bucks on their sequel.

Otherwise, I suppose you could say the next game I buy will be Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Unless, of course, you count free-to-play games. In which case, my next "purchase" will be Dota 2 or MechWarrior Online (assuming they release before August 21st).

Civilization 5: Gods & Kings, if it happens to go on sale during the Steam summer sale; or The Walking Dead, same condition. Otherwise, probably just the next indie bundle.

Though I'm sure I'll find *something* interesting during the summer sale...

Hm, I'm not sure. I know that Tales of Xillia was recently announced to be coming to the U.S sometime in 2013 so that's definitely on my buy list, but, there's a pretty long time period between then and now so I will more likely than not buy a game before then.

The only game I'm for sure buying is Halo 4, but depending on if I see a good steam sale or if a new game comes out that interests me then I might buy that too.

Maybe that new Transformers game. The first one was pretty good, as I recall. I keep hearing promising things about Spec Ops: The Line, too. Maybe I'll have to revisit my stance on military-themed first-person shooters (said stance being, in a word: "meh").
