Oldest would be Super Mario Bros. on the NES. Newest would be The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D Edition. The latter wins.

My oldest game is on the Gameboy and it's either Tetris or Super Mario Land, both came out the same year and I don't remember which I got first.

My newest game is Catherine.

My 3 oldest I got at the same time: Crash Bandicoot 1, This is Football and Disney's Hercules: The Video Game, all on the PS1
Strangely, I prefer older games on the Playstation over newer games; primarily because they have something few games can do well these days: replay value. A lot of them could do it without a multiplayer too.

Oldest Crash Bandicoot, could also hold the title of most played.

And newest is Alice Madness returns, love it!

I think that'd be Go.

And the newest is... I'm not sure, I buy games rather haphazardly, based on what I feel like playing.

Oldest: Timesplitters, year 2000. Fuckin' brilliant game. Newest? Probably Black Ops.
EDIT: Are we talking about newest in terms of release dates or when we added them to our collections? If the latter, it's the original Crackdown.

I think this is in order of release date, but I really have no idea

Frogger
Pitfall
Super Mario Bros
Excitebike
Legend of Zelda

I think those are the oldest ones I have

Newest is Batman Arkham Asylum and I have to say I prefer Batman to all of those, but I played Zelda the most of all

newest... uhm... dunno, guess i have to check on some indie games at steam; newest "big" title would probably be portal 2 (april, wasn't it? shogun 2 was a month earlier, i believe)

guess i have to do some googling ^^

Oldest ->

Faery Tale Adventure (1987, Amiga)
Possibly has one of the BEST game soundtracks in existence - and it's only 3 damned songs!

Newest ->
Red Dead Redemption (2010, PS3)
Yeah I know. I don't buy many new games.

Oldest? Counting only original copies, King's Quest VI. Not counting original copies, I have Gameboy Ports of stuff like Bionic Commando and Super Mario Bros.

Newest? L.A. Noire.
