I don't have a specific old game I play, but I do like to indulge in a good Point and Click Adventure game, their usually quite challenging and still fun, which is refreshing in comparison to most games these days :)

Also E.T. for the Atari 2600 xD

1990, baby. I can't believe how well this game has held up; for those who don't know, this game makes Demon's Souls look like a walk in the park. It's probably that difficulty mixed with all the random traps/treasures/weirdness that has kept it so fresh for me.

What about you?
my god you play a twenty year old game?
that thing is almost as old as i am

i have been playing earthworm jim a lot recently and that is 95 or 96

Gauntlet Dark Legacy. Not the oldest game I played, but what I play regularly. Used to play it on an arcade machine YEARS ago, more recently, found it for the PS2. The nostalgia made sure I couldn't pass it up.
Dude! I love that game. I have never been able to find it in shops though which has relentlessly pissed me off. i used to be able to just borrow it from my local rental place but that closed down a couple of yeares ago, haven't been able to plat it since.

OT: probably the orginal Diablo or the original Fallout.

A Link to the Past. 1992.

I remember growing up with this game on the SNES and being the first game to hook me on the Zelda series. I still play it to this day (though on the DS using the GBA cartridge) because no Zelda challenges player quite like the classics.

Pitfall, Mario games... Goldeneye & Perfect Dark...

The big one would have to be Another World, my favourite game of all time. The Anniversary/XP edition improved it even more and made my jaw drop.

Some SNES games like Megaman X or Zelda a Link to the Past. Classics like that are immortal.

Skyrim...

Unless you mean prior to the last 5 weeks. In which case I'd have to go with Dark Souls.

I know, right?
