Mass Effect 2.

I wanted to install Bioshock 2, but the Mass Effect 2 icon on my desktop was jumping and screaming "Play me, Play me!". So instead of playing Bioshock 2 for the first time, I started my second ME2 playthrough.

The last game I played that I had this problem with was Tropico 3. I don't know how that game can be that fun.
Perhaps you can help me understand the bloody game. Every time I start doing well all my workers suddenly stop growing me crops. It's the one game I'd completely obsess over if I didn't think it hated me.
You have to create more farms as your population increases, or else you won't have enough food to support your people. It takes time for your crops to grow, so you may have rough patches of gameplay early on. Also, make sure your farms are set to grow edible foods. Try to build different types of food-generating places, such as the fishing dock and ranches.

WoW - Several days of playing
Mass Effect 2 - A lot, lot, lot, lot, lot of playing. And romancing Tali every step of the way! Yay fanboy influence!

In recent memory the only game I can think of is Fallout 3. I hated it when I first played it but when I tried it a second time I couldn't put it down.
I am assuming thats what is goin to happen to me, i intend on starting up Fallout 3 very soon, I didnt like it the first time, but I was juggling between that and FarCry 2 at the same time and FC2 ended up taking all my time.

I sort of understand the complaints about AC2 but at the same time....i didn't care. Its sort of like the gaming equivalent of crank 2 with the kinetic over the top action and kills (and seeing an enemy running away scared, right off of a building, was pretty hilarious even if it was an AI glitch. I actually liked the story too but for the most part i just loved the action and platforming aspects.
Actually I was goin to say the same thing, AC2 Rulz, maybe i should give AC 1 a chance, unless anyone can give me a reason not too.
Anyway, I just finished the story part of the game, I just gotta complete a few side missions and find about 50 feathers and that'll be 100% and my second Platinum Trophy (PS3)

Also another game I couldn't put down was the 2 Uncharted games, I hadnt played Drakes fortune so I bought them at the same time and played 1 after another.

So yeah, Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Theives and Assassins Creed 2
Oh yeah, and Borderlands
If you can find AC cheap you should try it but i personally liked 2 much more. AC was fun but it was also pretty repetive in a SOTC type of way (it bugs me when i have to travel to my mission over and over again but i do it anyways because the game is so fun at times)
AC2 seemed more like a constant stream of action and platforming.
Yeah, thats what I have been told, repetitive but good in parts, I already own a copy but have never touched it, lol. I got it for $20 AUD (aprox $18 usd) which isnt to bad for australian games stores, usually I get my games from Play-Asia cuz they are half the price they are in stores here but it was cheap and it was there so I thought why not.

Most recently:

AC2 - This game kept me indoors for days! i loved the first one despite the repetition, but number 2 blew it out of the water. amazing story, and as someone else already commented, weird twist!

Trails HD - One of the only XBLA games ive actually purchased, but damn! the amount of hours spent trying to finish inferno 2 has been immense, now im trying to get the last achievement for completing the endurance tournement without any mistakes!

just started playing through Chrono trigger again, but for the first time on my DS copy! Im only about 6 hours into it but i can tell it's going to start eating away at my sleep time again!

Other games that i've lost to much time to:
Inselkampf (several servers)
Dawn of War
Skate/Skate2
Super Smash Bro's Melee (GC)

I could go on but those are the ones that probably made the biggest impact!

Oblivion. I'm currently playing with the intention of emptying out every single dungeon in Cyrodiil.
